Gerbo laughs quietly to himself. "Huh. Neat." He closes the door back up and shows his compatriots the mechanism before standing back up to his full 34" height. "So, where to? They mentioned a storeroom having a secret door leading to the wizard. Do we try a door that we haven't been through, yet, or look in some old room? We might have missed something."
OOC:
Redbrand mentioned a big hall. Maybe we retrace our steps and look over that hall... after we interrogate the skellies.Last edited July 28, 2021 12:48 am

OOC:
Theres no need to talk to the skeletons I'm sure they'll catch up with us soon enough, it lasts for 10 min or 1 hour for the turn? Either way I'm sure the'll shamble though soon enough."I don't recall any large hall except that one you got shot in. Is that the one you think somethings in?"

Getting more frustrated that the group are going round in circles, Kerisha takes her aggression out on some of the barrels in this room, Kicking them over and throwing them at the wall.
OOC:
The only door I can remember that we haven't been through is the one very south-east of the map on the eastern wall (at least I think that's a door). Otherwise we are into the unexplored corridors.Jul 28, 2021 10:04 pm
The defenseless barrels don't stand a chance against the brutal and unprovoked attacked. The others watch in fear as their comrades are smashed to pieces from the senseless act of brutality. Against the far wall one of barrels chips away at the "stonework", revealing a small latch, similar to those on the other hidden doors found to this point.

A grin comes across Karma’s face, though due to the beard no one would notice, "Well my fine muscular dude you have some good mojo running through you." The shaggy Dwarf walks over to the newly revealed door, "Shall we try this one?"

Blinking and wincing a little at the sudden ferocity shown by his orc friend, Gerbo's eyebrows shoot up at the new discovery. "You know what, Kerisha? I like your style. Would you like to open the door you found?"

Breathing heavily after her exertion, Kerishia looks proud that she found a door, even if it was more luck than judgement.
She can still feel her shoulder throbbing slightly from the last time she tried to open a door. "Ok. I got this one". After watching Gerbo's technique several times now, she tries to adopt the more subtle approach. She places a hand on the latch while keeping her other firmly on her sword.

Kerisha's new, subtler approach works like a charm. The hidden door easily pulls open, revealing a set of stairs that lead down a small hallway, apparently to a dead end.

Gerbo glares at the stairs suspiciously, looking for traps before searching the end of the stairs for any more secret doors.

Karma waits for Gerbo to do his thing, picking at stuff in his bread absent mindedly.

The slight curve at the end of the stairway almost makes it too easy for Gerbo to locate the hidden doorway. The mechanism to open the door is similar to others.

Gerbo, expecting resistance on the other side of the door, readies his rapier with one hand and pulls the door open with the other, attempting to do so as quietly as the door will allow.

Gerbo is able to get good look into the room as he quietly eases the door open. Sitting at a desk is a short, dark-bearded human male in robes, studying a tome that is laid out in front of him. A beautiful glass staff leans against his chair, within easy reach.
Everyone should roll initiative.
OOC:
Due to the narrow hallway and the doorway entrance, only Gerbo and one other (your choice) will get a turn before we fall into initiative order.Everyone should roll initiative.

Gerbo motions to Kerisha to grab the wizard or the staff (he pantomimes run and grab motions).
He will let Kerisha into the door and then will charge in behind her. If the staff is still there when he reaches it, he will grab it. If not, he will just lunge with his rapier at the wizard.
In either case, after the attack, he hops back to the other side of where the wizard sat to surround him.

At first, Kerisha cannot understand what Gerbo means with his pantomime actions...run and hug him? I don't know him. Would a fist bump do?
Eventually she gets the idea and bursts into the room to grab the wizard, holding him back from and weapons, and making sure his arms and hands are restrained so he cannot cast any of that weird magicy stuff.
