"Anything is possible, I suppose. If they were nearby, they might have heard and could have gone for backup, so had best make this quick." Striding over to the last bandit, Gerbo stows his bow and puts on his big kid voice. "Hey buddy. Let me tell you what's going to happen. You're going to tell me what's in that cave there and I prevent Kerisha from caving your skull in...Got anything to tell me?" He turns around and winks at Kerisha.
OOC:
Any bonus to the intimidation, since I'm involving Kerisha? If you think Persuasion fits better, it's a +5 instead.

Writhing in pain, and with both of his hands on the back of his thigh, the man's face goes pale at the thought of the barbarian stomping on his head.

"It just a tunnel. Lead to the cellar of the ol' manor on da hill."

Gerbo squints hard at him in a way he believes menacing.

Karma walks over to the remaining bandit and rests his Warhammer on his injured leg allowing half its weight to bare down, letting his medical knowledge place pressure on the right spot. "Is there anything else you’d like to add dude? Maybe who is inside, how many and passwords?"

The weight of Karma's hammer is more than enough to get a reaction and the man yells out in pain as he unsuccessfully tries to yank his leg from under the weapon.

"I'm talking, ya short bastard, no need for rough stuff." he protests.

"More of us Redbrands in the manor, been our home for near a year now. A couple months back this wizard shows up and just takes over the group. Organizes us up good. We got prisoners in there and everything!"

For a moment the man almost sounds as if he's bragging, and a slight smug look starts to form on his face before reality of his situation snaps him back.

"Some fella, goes by Black Spider, paying us to muck with the locals, and scare off travelers and the like. The prisoners were Glasstaff's thinking, that wizard who took over."

As he sees a smirk forming on the face of the Bandit Karma allows the hammer to drop a little more, "Bad mojo dude, you been allowing the man to sneak in."

OOC:
I don't see that we got a desc. of the Irno guy (wizard). Did we get one in a off the record sense?

OOC:
Sildar described Iarno as "A dark bearded wizard, in his thirties, fairly short."

Belanor goes up to Karma, "Ask him what his wizard boss looks like?" before turning to help keep a lookout for their mission companion.

Walking over to Kerisha, Gerbo leans over and whispers "After he tells us what his boss looks like, maybe we can just give him a nasty bump and put him to sleep? Might want to hide him, too, so he can't be questioned if his friend comes along and wakes him up."

Karma nods to Belanor’s suggestion but maintains eye contact with the bandit pulling the Warhammer off his leg a little, "You heard my man over there, What does this Wizard Overlord of yours look like?"

Kerisha, still raging, looks around for her next target. She is mildly disappointed when there are no bandits left.

She closes her eyes and slows her breathing. Listening to the sounds of the trees and appreciating the smell of the flowers. Her heart rate slows and her grip loosens on her sword. Finding the calm in nature has been the best way for her to control her rage.

Kerisha nods to Gerbo and after she has removed the red cloak from the one she hunted down, she strides over to the remaining bandit. While she waits for the others to finish questioning him, she ties the cloak around her wrist. Yet another fashion accessory made from her trophies.

The downed bandit stays silent for a moment, his eyes darting back and forth between Karma and Kerisha.

"Frail.... old man... uhhh... tall, yep, real tall, and.... um, clean shaven."

Orel furrows his brow as he unstraps his shield. "Either you're lying, appearance-changing magic is in play, or we have two wizards in play." He scratches his chin.

"You weren't lying, were you? It's okay if you were, I'm sure you have your reasons, but this is kind of important."

Orel isn't quite sure why the man is nervous. He also assumes that there must be some sort of magic that will change appearance but is unaware of any specifics.

OOC:
It's pretty clear to Karma that the man is lying...
May 6, 2021 10:22 pm
Karma let’s the Warhammer slide from his grip a little to apply more pressure quickly, "My burly buddy here," indicates Kerisha with a flick of his head, "Does not appreciate being lied to so would you like to re-think your answer?"
May 6, 2021 10:26 pm
The man groans under the added pressure on his injured leg.

"ENOUGH!! Alright, Glasstaff's a short thing, big black beard. Young guy."
May 7, 2021 12:06 am
Karma picks up his Warhammer but accidentally leaning a little on it and stands up, "Thank you your positive contribution to our conversation is appreciated." He then turns to the group smiling, "Always invigorating when clear and structured communication happens."
