So far, I've got an average of one 1 by round of combat. Glorious.

I made a mistake back there and rolled a third d20 for crit confirmation. The second d20 from Perfect Strike should've served as the crit confirmation roll. Will try to remember net time. :-)

I actually considered an unarmed strike, but dismounting would've taken up my move action, had it not?

You can attempt a quick dismount with a DC 20 Ride check, making it a swift action if successful. If you fail today, it's still a move action :)

What happens if you fail your Ride check after you've ALREADY moved? :-D Riding forward is a move action, right?

Checking character advancement stuff. It said in the opening that we are playing with fast character advancement. Level six is 15,000 xp, so i am assuming we start there. Gaining 900 puts us at 15,900 and the next level is at 23,000. Does that sound correct?

Sounds right to me

You stay on your horse.

So you try to leap out of the saddle, and.....nothing happens. Ok. :-D

Don't you still have your move action? Technically only the horse used its movement, right? ;)

That depends on what you do while mounted, and keep in mind that many of the Ride checks are performed as move actions.

So a natural 20 isn't auto-success in PF. This'll take some getting used to. :-D

It is in attack rolls and saving throws, but not for skill checks or ability checks, although, I do believe it is an existing optional rule...

Edit: Oh, I think I see where your confusion stem from. Yeah, had you been pushing the cart all by yourself, your check probably would have been high enough to push it aside enough to allow Roland's cart through, but the problem is you were performing an Aid Another action to help Kayleigh push since she initiated a group effort to push the cart aside. Or at least, this is what I was thinking you were doing, you could have always "lonewolfed" it and try to push it all by yourself, ignoring the others' efforts...

I'm going to delete the OOC exchange between me and Kaos in the game thread to avoid cluttering it. The Aid another for skills is already linked in my above post, and here's the Aid Another option for combat.

Sorry about clutter. I had honestly no idea how that worked.

Ah you're right, I'd forgotten this was an Aid action. Thanks for reminding! :-)

Naatkinson says:
Darren moves forward to the zombie around the corner and swings his warhammer at the creature's head, "Die, abomination!"
Rolls
Power Attack! - (1d20+9, 1d8+10)
1d20+9 - ( 1 ) + 9 = 10
1d8+10 - ( 1 ) + 10 = 11
...Damn, Naat...maybe you should just avoid Power Attacks for a while...
Jun 20, 2016 3:39 pm
So at the moment only Darren is aware of the zombies? The rest of us are only aware of the worms?

I am cursed in Pathfinder...

A warpriest is kinda like a Paladin, right? ;)
