So Ujjaya is able to ride the horse forward at the horse's speed but no archery. After riding forward can he still dismount and attack a target? Or can he ride forward and make an unarmed attack (a kick) from horseback?

Dismounting and shooting a target? Only if you succeed at a fast dismount check.

Riding forward and kicking a target while riding? Well, yes and no... Given the current positions on the map, you'd need to overrun at least one opponent, and they'd get their attack of opportunity against you (for the unarmed attack) and your horse (for the overrun attempt), unless you do it on the undead who already took their attack of opportunity against Darren (the ones in f7 and g7).

Ujjaya has Improved Unarmed Strike (granted to all monks at 1st level) so his unarmed strikes do not provoke AoO's. But yeah let's ride up and kung-fu kick G7.

Edited my post and added the appropriate rolls.

Oh, I thought you had switches Improved Unarmed Strike for some archery feat or another, but now I remember you did not... Okay, well first you need to move your horse to a free space and the only one I can really see right now is between d7 end e8 and will require an overrun on the zombie in f7, but this would allow you to kick the zombie in g7...

Edit: the prone zombie in d6 would get an attack of opportunity (most likely on the horse because he's prone) because you'd be moving through his threatened area, but that should not be much of a problem since he would be at -4 on this attack because he is prone...

Yeah I was looking at that space too but I was on my phone so couldn't move my token. Ujjaya/Ashva are positioned correctly now.

Alright, you can now make your horse's overrun attempt on the zombie in f7 in the game thread. Then if it succeeds, you can continue with your move and kick the zombie in g7...

Do I use Ujjaya's CMB? Seems like it should be the horse's.

Yeah, it should be the horse's.

Added the overrun attempt to my post. Based the CMB on this stat block.

OOC:I moved you back to f0-g1. Since the overrun was a failure, you were stuck in front of the zombie, but since some of those squares are occupied, you are pushed back to the first free squares...
Edited my post to remove those actions Ujjaya never got to take after the failed overrun.

Question, just because I'm not entirely sure myself.

If one has a magic item that lets them deliver a touch attack, and is holding a spell that is used as a touch attack, can the two stack?

Asking for a friend... *shifty eyes go here*

Galvanic Gauntlets + Cure Moderate Wounds? Hmm, good question... I guess it would, as the galvanic gauntlet does not produce a spell, and this situation where you're stuck holding a charge of a touch spell you missed and you get the opportunity to use your item as well as the held charge probably won't happen often enough to make this call unbalanced...

Also, the galvanic gauntlets are scaling items? Hmm, I need to keep in mind to give you 15% less treasure since you have a scaling item now...

Nooooooooooo...maybe...okay yes.

psssst... I'm not holding that charge anymore. I just nuked a dude with it. :)

OOC:
Dude, a flurry of blow is a full-attack action. You cannot perform a full-attack if you move more than 5 feet in a round. It's basically a full-round action, but for attacks. You can only perform a single action worth of attacks (which will most likely be only one) since you moved.
Yeah I was slapping my forehead when I realized. Sorry! Can I take back the move then and just do the flurry after dismounting? If not, then I'll shoot once (with the Alchemical Flare) after moving to i4.

Well, it's up to you. You can do one or the other.

The former then. Fast dismount, staying in place, Ki FLurry. Edited my post and moved my token back to f2.

I dunno if Roland will be able to post today...he's not in the office today on some personal bidness.
Jul 25, 2016 2:27 pm
Well, if its only for today, it's okay, we can wait. We might have to slow the game soon anyway as I'll probably need to make a post for a new player to replace Parmus Domus who's connection problem doesn't seem to have been rectified yet (he'll be more than welcome to come back once it is, of course). After this battle, it will be a good occasion to split him from the party...

I posted. And taking a break to add a new player won't be an issue for me. Whatever the game needs.
