Is everyone but Ujjaya on a top-secret mission? XD
Don't get me wrong, I won't mind roleplaying the dangers of the road to Barovia. So everyone is travelling solo, right? Do we all know each other? I wasn't keeping track if everyone signed up to the Lightbringers.

@Naatkinson: TY

@Jabes: I was wondering the same considering we are all in the same organization

We did all sign up, didn't we?

Kinda wish I was a paladin lol, then I WOULD take the Knight of the Raven prestige class.

From what I understand, there are Lightbringers and affiliated temples all over the countryside. It's possible that we know each other, but it's just as possible that we don't.

I agree. It would be interesting to meet each other for the first time and exchange the secret handshake haha! We probably have guild tokens as identification, right?

If you want to stark knowing the other lightbringer PCs, it doesn't bother me. You can keep discussing this a bit here before you meet up somewhere.

I've had an idea to make combat flow faster. When attacking, roll your attack roll(s) and your damage as well for each attack. I'll then tell you if you hit or miss and then apply the already rolled damage in the case of a hit. This way you won't have to wait for a post from me telling you "Okay, you hit, you can roll damage now".

Same thing with spells. When casting your spells, roll your effects right away instead of waiting for me to roll my saves. I'll roll saves in my post and then apply full, half, or no effect as the case may be.

That's what I've always had people do. It makes things SO much faster lol

It's how I try to do things...I have everyone declare their actions, roll their attacks/damage, then I type up a "round synopsis". So much smoother than them waiting on me torespond to each post

Yeah I imagine it would be a pain in the ass otherwise! :-D

I'm leaning towards knowing only one or two of the others, if any. Though I admit everyone already knowing everyone does make things easier.

Is there another Lightbringer temple closer to Barovia than the one I started out from? If there is then obviously that's where I'm headed first before pushing onward to Barovia. I have to remind myself I'm on unofficial business at the moment as I am hunting lycanthropes, not undead.

Since I don't really know Golarion, I went with "generic unnamed cities". Yes, there is a lightbringer temple closer to Barovia than the one you started out from (as you'll soon learn when you meet the others).

As I don't know much about the setting (didn't had time to read the ravenloft campaign setting yet), I'll need some help to choose my Favored Communities (x2), any suggestion?

Perhaps we've all met, but haven't had much close contact with more than one or two? That would save us the introductions and confusion, but allow us to create pre-existing bonds with the others.

I can't really make suggestions here, except maybe look at a map of Golarion and pick any 2 cities? Anywhere relatively close to big mountain range where a small secluded valley (Barovia) could reasonably be located is a good choice.
May 6, 2016 3:21 pm
Can we say Barovia would be in the Ustalav Area? If so I could choose "Carrion Hill" and "Ardis"

That looks like it could be a good location. Given how the valley of Barovia needs to be isolated, the most logical place would be the southern Hungry Mountains, south of Riwudo, near those woods that borders the Path River. I don't know what the scale on that map is though...

Kayleigh isn't a Lightbringer, actually - she's more of a mercenary.
