Angel follows the first group out to the vehicle and climbs in, ready to help. He looks over at Clarissa, carching her eye, and smiles and nods at her, happy she is being strong and doing what she can.

The cars arrive at the bridge and find that it has indeed collapsed on the other side. The truck is in the river though not far from the bank and Harry, Jon and Joe Harlow are sat on the bank under the partial shelter of a tree, soaking wet.

Soaking wet, battered, bruised, and holding his arm, Jon speaks up. Bridge washed out beneath us, tried to jump to shore. I didn't make it...got swept downriver. Barely made it to the shore...I could use a doctor...

Mathis has popped one or two dislocated shoulders back into place before but somehow he manages to screw this one up. He tears a muscle in Jon's arm (-1hp) and not only will the arm be useless until he sees a Doctor, but he's in a LOT of pain (-30 to all rolls)

Having had to reset a dislocated shoulder or two himself, Jon steels himself for the pain that's about to come.

Unfortunately, he is completely caught off guard by what happens, and the cry of pain followed by the string of expletives is intense.

Strictly speaking, no. A major wound is if you lose 50% HP to a single wound and as your HP loss was from several different sources, you're good. Recovery is 1hp per day, with 1d3 if treated by someone with a successful Medicine roll (one time only until more damage is sustained)

Everyone helps get the the ropes attached and the three cars, driven by the sheriff, Terrence Laslow and William Noakes, start to pull the truck toward the muddy bank.
