Surprising everyone, Mathis lurches at the Deputy, making a grab for his gun. The Deputy anticipates and is bigger than Mathis and shoves him backwards, bringing his gun to bear.
"Try that again and I will blow your head off," shouts the Deputy.
The sheriff is quickly to his side, gun also pointed at Mathis, leaving you in no doubt that they will both gun him down if any of you make another move, "Down on your knees, hands on your head!"

The sheriff roughly pulls Mathis' arms behind his back and cuffs him, removing his weapon, while the Deputy pulls Angel out and cuffs him too. He then slowly holsters his before turning and slugging Mathis hard in the jaw.

Angry, mainly because the sheriff didn't listen to a word any of them had to say, Jon shouts, "HEY! You stupid son of a bitch! What the Hell is your problem? First, you ignore us when we tell you some weird shit happened at the farmhouse, and now you punch a defenseless and cuffed man? What the hell is wrong with you people? Do they put some crazy drug in the water here to make everyone see crap and act crazy?"
