Nero doesn't make it far into the ship when you are all greeted by a female synthetic voice.

"You are not part of my crew. Please identify yourselves."

Sorrack rolls (per (45) explorer (-20?)

Somehow, after looking very intently at the spacecraft and the surrounding area, Sorrack knows even less than he did before...

Sorrack looks around at the tracks, and aside from the fact that they seem to leave the ship, he can't really say more since those tracks are not recent and the wind has blown some sand onto them...

Meanwhile inside the ship...

The synthetic female voice continues.

"You are from that unidentified ship which broke up in the atmosphere a week ago? We were wondering who else would be near the Gravity Nexus. We tied to send communications to any potential survivors, but the strange electro-magnetic interferences on that planet prevented us from sending a message out. So we sent people out to look for you, they haven't been back since."

The Gravity Nexus? You weren't supposed to get even close to that place... What the hell happened?

"Yes, the low temperatures on the planets can be potentially lethal for unprotected biological entities exposed to it for prolonged period of time, but the team were all wearing space suit, they should be fine."

The ship's A.I. doesn't seem to be swayed by Trudy, whatever he/she/it is doing...

"Oh, where are my manners. I've been talking to you and forgetting you might be in need of help. Very well, tell you what. I will give you access to the ship's crew area, infirmary, and food and water so you can gather your strengths, but in exchange I'd like you to help me determine what happened to my crew. After Gren Yul Eiswyr and Dask Oranos left with the ATVs to find survivors from the crash and failed to return four days later, the rest of the team decided to proceed exploring those mysterious buried doors we found. They have been gone for three days now and I do not know what could be keeping them in there. Besides, I'm sure the Federation Navigation Systems Inc. would reward for rescuing any of their missing personnel and retrieving any of their lost property..."

Well... Getting paid would be nice, especially seeing your last employer kinda kicked the bucket...

"There will be no need to wait for rescue teams. Hopefully, as soon as you find the crew, our pilot, Mesec Devro will be able to take us out of here and back into Galactic Federation space... unless you want to be dropped somewhere else instead... In the unfortunate event that Mesec is dead, I am quite capable of piloting this ship myself."

Sorrack slowly enters the open bay doors. He looks around, trying to get a lay out of the ship. Specifically, he looks for any writing, sign boards, supplies, anything interesting. The cool metal of the deck feels nice against the chapped skin of his feet.
