'Everyone on that station was after this, seems likely we're being followed at a distance or tracked by at least one group, maybe more. Any way we could throw off pursuit or stop to sweep the ship on the way?' asks Ken.

What kind of skills or roll would that be?Apr 1, 2021 3:28 am
OOC:
I'd guess Piloting to lose a pursuer, not sure we'd want to take the risk of stopping but I guess Knowledge - Outer Rim to know somewhere to stop on the way and then it would depend on how thorough we want to be, maybe pay someone to sweep the ship or Perception to look for a physical tracker, Computers to see if the ship was hacked.Apr 1, 2021 12:07 pm
OOC:
Well, you guys were the first ones off of the Wheel and you have the data pod and the protocol droid. You're probably in the lead at the moment. Jumping to Hyperspace is a pretty good way to lose folks, especially if your jumping to the end of a trade route and dropping out in deep space to plot a risky hyperspace jump somewhere else. Good work Ad-hoc, hopefully now we can make our way to Cholganna with ease. Would you all be ok with trying to recreate Cholganna's last known jump? Apr 2, 2021 11:34 am
OOC:
A direct jump from the Wheel (Besh Gorgon system) is Daunting (4P) as your basically taking current data and jumping somewhere off the edge of the map. If you break it into 2 jumps, the first to the end of the Trade route, and then the second to Cholganna - its an Average (2P) difficulty since your staying on the map. Then the second would be Hard (3P) but with A Boost (Blue) and one of the Green dice upgraded to Yellow from AD-hoc's Triumph for recovering the original Jump data. Apr 3, 2021 11:02 pm
'How many jumps will it take to get there? The fewer the better if you ask me. We have the lead at the moment, let's use it.'

Agreed, expediance would be best.
OOC:
I can do a group ckeck with Jeswain. You can go ahead and roll it OddtrailsApr 7, 2021 11:48 am
Jeswain starts the calculation for the jump to the end of the Trade route. Looks simple enough, once the numbers are in, Pergano eases the lever back and you shoot off into hyperspace.
It's roughly 48 hours until Pergano drops the ship out of hyperspace. You're at the 'end' of the mapped Perlemian trade route. Floating in deep space, Jeswain begins the calculation to jump to Cholganna. Utilizing the data AD-hoc recovered he works to build a safe route for you.
Nodding to Pergano, Ready when you are.
Pergano orients the ship and pulls the lever.

About 20 more hours in Hyperspace. Anyone have anything they would have done over the last 3 days that we can wrap up?Rolls

As the starlines fade to realspace, the sensor system immediately goes haywire, flashing lights and sounding a malfunction alarm. A quick glance shows the system is jammed or overwhelmed. Looking outside, you see what you assume to be the Chol system's star as a dim, hazy disk. You can't make out any stars, and you don't immediately see Cholganna or much of anything else.
You seem to have appeared inside the Chol Nebula, as you peer into the dust cloud you feel the ship shudder as a loud boom reverberates through the ship. Oh great, asteroids...

OOC:
We'll need a pair of Hard (3P) Piloting checks to get clear of the asteroids, assume a boost die from Jeswain's assistance. Someone will also need to make a Hard (3P) computers check to get the sensors adjusted to account for being inside a Nebula. Apr 8, 2021 3:44 pm
Pergano smiles as he weaves around space trying to avoid the asteroids.
edit: well that was a very up and down rolling experience
OOC:
I will do separate checks here all at once.edit: well that was a very up and down rolling experience

Ken looks out the window, 'Loca!' He starts prodding buttons on the console trying to unjam the sensors. 'I am not really sure what I'm doing here...'
He'll heal 3 wounds during the journey

AD-hoc surveys the nebula before them and starts working, 'This is an unexpected, yet not insurmountable obstacle'

The rocky arrival test Blih spaceleg and he found himself quite happy he only had a light meal.
He quickly observe the situation though and analyse the weak points of there position. He will then run to the turret to communicate asteroid coming from dead angles until the sensors come back online.

not sure if this would have a diff or count as extra help on piloting. Rolled Blih's skill just in case.Last edited April 8, 2021 5:21 pm

Pergano starts weaving the ship through the cloud of Asteroids heading their way. Slipping deftly through the first batch. Blih begins calling down vectors of incoming rocks that are outside of Pergano and Jeswains view.Though informative, it still wasn't enough to completely dodge the second swarm, numerous small hits are handled by the ships particle shields, but one big one sneaks through and rocks the ship momentarily. Suddenly, the sky begins to clear as the ship heads towards the thinner part of the nebula. AD-hoc and Ken's furious clacking on the keyboards die down as their adjustments to the sensors kick in and the over-whelmed sensors calm down.
Flying out of the Nebula, you spot Cholganna, your just inside it's orbit and it appears that the planet passes through the Nebula for part of it's year. As you approach you start planning your search.

OOC:
That last rock hit did 3 Hull points of damage. You have the last known coordinates of the Sa Nalaor above the planet, an average (2P) computers check will need to be made to determine the best spot to start searching.Rolls
