[IC] Aqua Mortis (Session 1)
1 Success, 3 Advantage, 1 Triumph
Triumph says that "Do something vital ...", could this mean that the stuck card interfered with the Tabithissa's spell and dispelled it? Maybe for a turn or two?
Not sure if there are advantages left, since they are used to reduce damage. If that doesn't use the advantages, cCan I force the orc to drop the girl as he is surprised to see me just walking into the temple

I don't think you have enough maneuvers to do everything you're trying to do in this single turn. Just making sure I understand what you're doing. First, there's the matter of whether the door is locked... :) There are two possibilities, but it boils down to you choosing between buffing an ally in addition to yourself, or you buffing only yourself and then using the Triumph to say the door is unlocked.
Re-reading your post, I think everything is fine except for the door being locked (which was my intention). To have it unlocked is going to take the Triumph.
Option 1 is Action: Cast Barrier spell on self; Maneuver 1: open door; Maneuver 2: go into the chapel (no strain due to Catfolk, but assuming you spend the Triumph to say the door is unlocked). In this scenario, you get 3 advantage to spend, and some of that might be used to disadvantage the priestess, but not to dispel her barrier for your allies. [I think this is what you've narrated?]
Option 2 is Maneuver 1: Engage with Hildar or Tronus, Action: Cast spell (with +1 purple added onto what you rolled to buff both you and your ally), and Maneuver 2: Engage with door. In this scenario, you may have to use the Triumph to buff the ally, depending on what the second purple does. [rereading your post, I don't think you meant to do this.]
So does that work? You're inside, the Triumph made the door unlocked, and you have 3 advantage to spend. (Barrier's effect is increased by excess successes, not advantages, so you still have those to use.) Those can certainly be used to have Jacey wiggle free of the Orc.
Outside, Hildar, Tronus and Milbank continue to feel like their flesh is being roasted away by being near the chapel door.
Note that I've added several NPC slots to the end of the order. Continuing the fight in the chapel is going to bring the clerics down on you, as in their mind, Jacey is an escaped patient being returned to care.
That's around to another PC. It can be Nekurr again if you have something in mind to do immediately, CESN. Otherwise, Hildar or Tronus is up!

"Oh hi there fellow men of faith!" he quickly tries to identify the cleric that is in charge. "It seems there has been some sort of misunderstandign here..."
You may spend:
* 2adv to increase the length of the effect by one additional turn, and
* spend Triumph to extend the benefits to all of their identified allies within short range.
The effect ends immediately if your character or a known ally attacks the target. In addition, your GM may rule that some targets are immune to this ability. An automated sentry turret, for example, has no interest in resolving a conflict through talking, nor would someone consumed by rage and the desire for revenge against your character.

Isn't St. Durvin the one where Nekurr met a cleric before?
Isn't St. Durvin the one where Nekurr met a cleric before?
I'd say delay him if the hope is that Sister Mabel might see your side and intervene with the authorities. Let him go if you're willing to go to jail or become fugitives for a while. (Even the Sister Mabel route may lead to one of those outcomes, but at least there's a chance it won't).

Through the flaming ring of the door, it's somewhat difficult to hear what's going on inside, but Sister Tabithissa does seem to hear her comrade call for the clerics to stand down to find out what's going on. She shouts inside: "Girl! Run! Get away from these three before they harm you!"
The girl seems to feel a surge of energy. She seems poised to make a run for it. Where to is anybody's guess...
