RAW, a pact weapon if I choose Pact of the Blade can either be one I create with an action or a magical weapon I do the ritual on. Could I do that on a masterwork weapon, or would it need to be a magic weapon?

First off it is important to understand I view them as GAW -- Guidelines As Written -- since that is what they are.

With that said and with the modification that the bonuses To Hit and Damage come from Masterwork instead of Magic I will tweak the Guidelines as follows :

The Warlock can transform one magic and/or masterwork weapon into their pact weapon by performing a special ritual upon the weapon they have chosen. The ritual takes one hour, consumes 10gp of components, and can be done during a Short Rest. They can then dismiss the weapon, shunting it into an extradimensional space, and it appears whenever they create (call) their pact weapon thereafter. They cannot affect an artifact, relic, or sentient weapon in this way. The weapon ceases being their pact weapon if they die, if they perform the 1-hour ritual on a different weapon, or if they use the 1-hour ritual to break the bond they formed. The weapon is forever lost if it is in the extradimensional space when the bond is broken.

Character is up. Please let me know if I missed anything. I ended up going with Bear, because the personality seemed to match what I was going for a little better. I assumed that the expanded spell list included Lunes + aspect. It's that correct?

Yes that is correct

Would you like a suggestion on your Heavy Mace ? That instead of being +2/+2 you make it as follows:

Heavy Mace
.... Cold Iron (Fey, Undead, Fiends +1d4 Damage)
.... Masterwork +2 To Hit / +1 Damage
.... Masterwork Holy Water Discharge (+1d4 Radiant Damage)
......... (3 Strikes per Flask)(Holds 2 Flasks)

Note the Holy Water Discharge is triggered by a special locking twist of the handle.

This would cost more and would mean adjusting the your money allocation but this makes a weapon that is nearly a magical holy weapon without actually being magical.

Also the Scholar Pack is worth considerably more than the Dungeoneers Pack and seems more in theme with your character are you sure you want the Dungeoneers Pack?

Also are you not wanting a manual ranged weapon like maybe a hand crossbow -- just checking -- I know with your cantrips this might not seem necessary but you never know.

Regarding the mace, I am not especially concerned with it being "nearly magical", because the Pact Weapon counts as magical for the purposes of creature's resist/ immunity to non-magical, but I wouldn't be averse to extra radiant damage. How much more for the holy water? 5x?

I took Dungeoneer's Pack, because although she was at a temple, she seems like someone who would be more apt to take things on the road than favoring study.

I think the most fitting would probably the Explorer's pack, but Dungeoneers seemed next closest.

Alright just wanted to be sure having taken the Acolyte Background just seems like you would have taken the Scholars Pack as a base and then augmented it.

As for the Holy Water per the PHB its 25gp per Flask

I meant the upgrade for Holy water discharge. Sorry, could have been more clear. Yeah. I figure Lumina has always been about getting out and helping people and studying is not her strong suit.

Its a Masterwork benefit with a +2/+1 you have x15 -- with the Holy Water dispenser that is a total of x20 -- however you are going to want the Cold Iron base as that adds damage as well which increases the base cost from 10gp to 18gp then x20 = 360gp

OK. I'll look into it.

Updated my list. Want to make sure it makes sense? I moved some stuff around and found the gold to add cold iron and holy water while keeping the masterwork (not sure if your +2/+2 maximum is a "four upgrade" maximum, or if 5 upgrades is allowed).

Ditched the daggers to make it work. Might be a bad idea, but I'm thinking I should be ok with one weapon for a while at least, especially since it's a pact weapon.
