You may roll up to 3 characters and pick your favorite pool. Available classes are found here.

Two quick things, sir!
(1) I like the Thief class and I would be happy to fill that role. I have a couple of character concepts which I had shelved for "later use" that I would employ here. Should I include the character history/background here for your review or include it in the bottom of the character sheet/file?
(2) Sorry for the moronic question, but when you say favorite "pool", do you mean pool of rolls or do I write up 3 complete characters, pick one, play with them and should they meet an untimely fate, I can then enlist the services of one the others?

It should also be noted that if you opt to separate race/class your race options are Drow, Dueregar, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Half-Elf, Half-Orc, Human, and Svirfneblen, but not all races can choose all classes. Some are limited to certain Classes, and all races have level caps on their choice of class.
There is a list of Races allowable here.

Got it. What would be the best way for you to receive my rolls? Good faith? Does the site have a built-in rolling system?

On that note, I'm probably going "traditional" textbook thief; the default human thief as in the original game.

Noted that you're going to take the Thief class.
And yes, there's a dice roller.
1. At the bottom of your reply box you have two red buttons: "Post" and "Advanced". Click on "Advanced".
2. Below the comment box you'll now see a black bar that says "Rolls and Decks". There's a Red button below that that says "Add". Click on "Add".
3. There's two blank bars now below the "Add" button. One says "Reason". Type in "Character 1 Dice Pool", or something of the sort. It doesn't really matter what you type in there, but it won't let you roll the dice if it is left remaining blank. In the other blank bar, which says "Roll", you can type in whatever dice you're rolling ("3d6", or "1d20", or "2d4", for example). In this case you can copy/paste or type in the following:
3d6, 3d6, 3d6, 3d6, 3d6, 3d6
That will give you six rolls of 3d6 when you click the red "Save" button, and will look like what you see below...

3d6 : (416) = 11

I'm going to roll that now, but before I do, let me say Thank You. I appreciate you taking the time to explain things like I'm a toddler, which in this setting, I appreciate. Even though I'm a grown ass man, this clear, detailed, step-by-step process is what I need to understand things.

...
I'm usually a pessimist by trade, but I feel it cannot be argued that those are horrible rolls.

Going with pool 1, then; assigned as follows:
STRENGTH: 15
INTELLIGENCE: 8
WISDOM: 11
DEXTERITY: 17
CONSTITUTION: 11
CHARISMA: 7
STRENGTH: 15
INTELLIGENCE: 8
WISDOM: 11
DEXTERITY: 17
CONSTITUTION: 11
CHARISMA: 7

Well the first pool isn't too shabby at all. They'll have better stats than the party's current Thief, and he's survived long enough to reach Level 2, so...
Jun 27, 2021 12:54 am
Okay. He starts with Max HP plus any Con bonuses, so that's going to be 4. You'll need to roll 3d6 and multiply it by 10 for starting gold.

I guess, in hindsight, it isn't too bad. I do like that not everything is stellar, which helps shape the character and how he's going to be portrayed. Let's resolve Starting Gold next:
Rolls
Starting Gold - (3d6)
(344) = 11

So far, we have:
Norris DeWitt
Level 1 Human Thief
ALIGNMENT: Neutral
HIT POINTS: 4
STRENGTH: 15 ( +1 )
INTELLIGENCE: 8 ( -1 )
WISDOM: 11 ( +0 )
DEXTERITY: 17 ( +2 )
CONSTITUTION: 11 ( +0 )
CHARISMA: 7 ( -1 )
Starting Gold: 110GP
Norris DeWitt
Level 1 Human Thief
ALIGNMENT: Neutral
HIT POINTS: 4
STRENGTH: 15 ( +1 )
INTELLIGENCE: 8 ( -1 )
WISDOM: 11 ( +0 )
DEXTERITY: 17 ( +2 )
CONSTITUTION: 11 ( +0 )
CHARISMA: 7 ( -1 )
Starting Gold: 110GP
