Through the Breach? Interesting call. I've played a campaign of it IRL, Malifaux is a lovely setting.

I added my name to a few games such as World of Darkness and The Expanse.

I’ve been playing it for a few years. I’d love to run it, but I haven’t figured out how to translate the card-based system to play by post. Especially since players are supposed to have their own hand of cards that they can use to swap out other cards. It seems like the system could get overly involved for a PbP game.

I played Malifaux the skirmish game for a while when it came out. I don't have the figures anymore, but I have the cards

I'm hoping to touch that fantasy wild west theme when Eberron Frontiers gets released. I hope to make a western march-like game here on GP with that as a base. I will look to Malifaux for plot idears and stunning artwork

Hi all, new to these boards but long time PBP gamer. Looking for something freeform or rules lite (alternately any game as long as someone can help me limp through char gen) to jump into. I prefer sci fi or modern, dark and edgy in tone, and in a somewhat military or former military vein. Think Equalizer, Sicario, Firefly or John Wick. Is this the best venue to catch a game or should I be hunting and pecking in the new games forum?

The best way is usually to just keep an eye on the Games Tavern subforum where GMs advertise their games when they're looking for players, or to join our Discord server where there's also an Interest Check channel where some games get announced or you can ask for specific games.

That said, posting in this thread is definitely not a bad idea either!
