Chapter 2 - House Calls

The man lets out a grunt before collapsing unconscious to the ground, his long trench coat flying open in the process. From his belt hangs what appears to be a heavily modified blaster and several grenades. His coat is also concealing a rifle of some sort.

It takes a surprising amount of effort from Gurag to get the man up off the ground and onto his shoulder but he managers to get the job done quickly. At this point four members of the FSF appear and dismount from their speeders as they are waved down by some witnesses about 80 meters away. Fingers start to point in your direction.

Two of the officers break away from the others as Gurag, followed at a short distance by Guy, both approach. One of officers, a tall male Chiss with a nametag that reads "PC Kiraj'ames'will" crosses his arms as he listens to what each of you have to say.

"The man on the ground then? That is the one who fired a blaster in public?" he asks pointing over towards Kip and the Marialan.

"And where exactly did you say he was coming from?"

"Let's have a look then."

PC Kiraj'ames'will walks over to the Mirialan, his eyes immediately drawn to the small arsenal the man is carrying on his belt.

"Bit much for a jealous ex-boyfriend."

Then he notices the concealed rifle in the man's coat.

"What it with this guy?"

Carefully removing the weapon the PC's jaw drops and reaches for his communicator.

"Sergeant Mucecud, we need you on scene. Just uncovered a man carrying a disrupter rifle!"

He waves over the other FSF members and tells them to keep an eye on the suspect and to await Mucecud's arrival.

"What is your role in all of this?" he asks Kip, "Can you show me the exact apartment this slime crawled out of. Should do a wellness check to see if anyone in there is harmed. This man looks like he came to do more than just talk."

"I'll go check it out. Please wait here until the Sergeant arrives, she's going to have some questions about all of this. Not everyday we find someone totting a disruptor around!"

The PC enters the front of the apartment complex, holding the door for an elderly couple as they exit. It's not more than a few seconds later that another FSF speeder appears on scene being driven by Mirach Mucecud. She quickly dismounts and joins the rest of the group.

"What's the situation?" she starts before her eyes widen as she obviously recognizes the man on the ground.

"Kuvo!! she growls. "Let's get this man to the station, he's going to have a lot to answer for."

As the other FSF officers bind and remove the man, Mirach turns her attention to the three of you.

"I seem to recognize the three of you from this morning. What business do you have in this area of town? You didn't happen to see another Mirialan around, did you?"

"Partners. Kuvo is the lookout, the distraction. Jinvu is the other; doesn't look a threat, but the little man very skilled at what he does. If you haven't seen him, it means Kuvo has done his job... "

Mirach lets out a heavy sigh.

"...and Jinvu has visited my home."

Mirach takes a quick look about before stepping in a little closer.

"Let's just say Gen and his Imperial friends don't like to be told 'no'. Those characters are his way of sending a message to those who won't play his game. You see, Gen knows, that I know, something he wants to know."

She leans in a little closer and speaks just above a whisper.

"I know who you are."
