Let me get one thing straight. What is the difference between multiclassing and having two favored classes when you play a half-elf? Is it that if you're multiclassing, you only get the class benefits of the your additional classes but when you have two favored classes, let's say, you gain those class benefits again
and in addition you can invest +1 hp or +1 skill rank (when you take a level on that class, of course)?
Let me exemplify. My character level is 2 now and Ranger level is also 2. When I take another level, let's say I have chosen Unchained Rogue. Since I get to choose two favored classes, now my character level is 3, I'm a level 2 Ranger and level 1 Unchained Rogue and I get all the level 1 benefits of Unchained Roge, plus I get to choose either to take one hp or one skill rank (both for Ranger and Unchained Rogue).
If I wasn't a half-elf and just multiclassing, above conditions would still be the same, except that I only would do plus one hp or skill rank thing for Ranger, not Unchained Rogue.
Is this correct?
