haha, sounds good!

OOC:
For the next round actually don't roll and state you maneuver down the track then you're auto move forward to the Joker Gravity Well Anomaly.
[ +- ] Round 6 Chase
Jelar pilots into the gravity well anomaly and you all find everything a bit easier to do.
OOC:
Assist rolls at +0 (-2+2) on Jelar, Piloting for round 7 after they roll will be at +4 if they don't roll well for Jelar. Pass with two raises on piloting leaves the bushwhackers in the dust and ends the chase btw.

OOC:
Ok so assist are going to be at no penalty and Jelar is now rolling at +4 before any assist if it doesn't work out. I'll wait to see if there's any assistance. After that Jelar's up.
Aug 24, 2021 7:38 pm
OOC:
Apologies, but could you tell us how we would/could assist him again?
Aug 24, 2021 7:53 pm
OOC:
I think you've been trying to map out the best route with Notice no?
Aug 24, 2021 8:16 pm
Not sure what else to do, Slim literally looks for a way out. Maybe that way?! he says, hoping the path he sees is actually useful.
OOC:
oohhh yeah, thanks

Slim picks out a pathing route that although Jelar tries to foil actually gets down in a timely manner and he considers helpful. Rovann while Jelar is distracted trying to foil Slim's assistance also tries something modifying the ships systems for a short burst of additional speed.
OOC:
Next round Jelar will probably use the piloting manuever so +2, +2 from joker, +1 from slim, and +2 from Rovann. So your piloting at +7 go ahead and roll.

Rolls

Rolling for Rovann's Electronics - (1d6, RA)

(3) = 3

Wild - (1d6, RA)

(65) = 11

Hearing a switch in the sound of the thrusters he switches for location Slim points at on the chart

Rolls

Piloting, Wild Dice - (1d6+7, 1d6+7, RA)

1d6+7 : (3) + 7 = 10

1d6+7 : (5) + 7 = 12

OOC:
That's success with two raises.
[ +- ] Round 6 Chase
With the assistance, a little of madman pilot skills, and luck you all are about to to wonder if you make the best of decisions has you feel a lurch in your stomachs from the force of the sudden and rapidly growing thrust behind you. You find yourself in open space quite some distance away from the debris. The Bushwhackers are no where to be seen either due to driving or courage to use a gravity well anomaly as a slingshot. Rovann sighs and mutters about getting the med kit, you see an electrical filigree burn up his arm and the makeshift jury rigging wiring he's worked over the system in the chaos of the chase. He patches himself up and then reconnects failsafe systems he'd take offline to increase performance. By the way he's flexing his hand and frowning you can tell he's probably not going to be going in at full speed.

You eventually land on a large asteroid after what seemed like a month in space traveling here. Explaining who you are they ask about how was the trip around the debris since you got here a lot earlier then they expected. Someone finds out you're here for a job for Loki and someone leads you to where they found the body. Rovann hasn't really said much since you've gotten off the ship and he's been looking around still flexing his hand and twisting his bandaged arm.
OOC:
Just the two older gentleman for the time being in the front.
Sep 12, 2021 5:38 pm
"You need anything or should I let you get to it?" they ask wondering if they can go. Everyone notices there'd no body.
Sep 14, 2021 12:04 am
"The body. Where is the body?" Jelar asks the person who led them to the spot. "Also, we will need to speak to any witnesses."
Sep 14, 2021 12:51 am
Slim adds 'The sooner we can get this done, the sooner we'll be outta your hair'
Sep 14, 2021 11:36 am
"Been a while since he died, body is in storage. Yall didn't expect us to just leave his body hanging on the perimeter wire for a few weeks till someone come out, did ya? they ask scratching thier head.
Sep 15, 2021 4:20 am
Rovann was still visibly shaken from the space rollercoaster they had to go through to escape the bushwhackers. Now on solid ground (asteroid), he was busy contemplating the vagaries of life. Someone's question shook him out of the reverie however and he was forced to reply, I didn't do it chief...I just got here...
Sep 16, 2021 9:30 pm
Slim starts look around to see if anything it out of place, even though it's been a while.
OOC:
Assuming we are at the site of death

Although it's been a while Jelar and Slim piece together the man was injured and stumbled into the razor wire sensor wire and flopped onto it. The wire is still stained with dried blood so you figure he bleed out also from the other side of the fence you two notice tracks on the outside of the perimeter.
OOC:
response was before Rovann's post: Been a while since he died, body is in storage.
Sep 18, 2021 1:30 am
Jelar asks the guide if it is possible to get onto the otherside of the fence, so they can examine the tracks or has someone already looked at them?
Sep 20, 2021 12:19 pm
They seem confused about the tracks they hadn't noticed and they explain the route to get to the gate entrance to walk around.
