Roadrunner Cove Summer Camp
Boulder City, Nevada.
Six months, and life had returned to normal. Well, at least somewhat normal. Christmas break finished, and the long hike to summer began. Sure, you’d have breaks here and there. Maybe even a sick day or two. But months of school stretched out before you. And summer… summer was the real deal. That business with Cuckoo, while not forgotten about, took a back seat to school, and sports, and summer camp. You had coordinated. Approached it tactically. Asking parents when they were in a good mood if you could finally go this year. And they were only too happy to oblige! Weeks without a kid in the house? Too good of an opportunity to pass up, though they’d never let you see it like that. They made you work for it! Keep that room tidy. Mow that lawn. But finally, one by one, you were all confirmed. You’d be attending Roadrunner Cove Summer Camp.
And it’s the morning of the first day…
Did any of your parents attend the camp in their younger days? They’d be only too happy for you to get a taste of the happiness and joy (and character building) that they experienced! It’s been around long enough! What do you bring with you? What activities are you most looking forward too? There will be a lot of kids, older and younger. Anything you are worried about?
… back in the summer of 69… oh man, we were killin’ time…
