- So, as you can see from my post, I rolled 1 (of course) and the cost is the life of three people (out of 20-something that lived through the storm), the spirits nagging Lilinoe and the necessity to attack the wizard. I'm not sure if that's the "punishment" that you had in mind.
I don’t really have much in mind (or try not to :) ) I think that is a nice hard choice that will haunt L for a long time
Snowcrash says:
- Also, if 1 is "hard success with a punishment", shouldn't 4 be "a success with a prize" and 2 "plain success" etc?
Right, I though about that, but then the success with price would change with the die and become less likely as well. That’s why I only started with rolling 1 having meaning. Start simple and, if we need, we can modify it to fit the game better :)

- TBH, I didn't write anything about Solmyr because I don't want to branch the story into two more separate narratives. But, in one or two posts I will make contact, no worries :)
Sure, no problem, you can write from any point of view you want to. This way we’ll be wondering what Solmyr is up 👍

- I have created a character of Aeron Greyjell (had to do that, just love Greyjoys) - do you add this stuff to the house/retinue ?
Stealing shamelessly from everywhere since… whenever RPGs started 😆
I would had any character for future reference. Maybe a minor one now can be reused lager for some big role?

I was also wondering about the effects of the d4, but I figured that it just provides a reason to maybe dump more resources. If you really want to pass something, you can push more resources, so you have a greater chance of success. Is that right or were you thiknking about giving any more incentive to succeed.
Yeah, that’s it. Without the die it would be just shared writhing. This way we have some randomisation. Maybe you wanted it to go one way and the die says no? 😅
