The party does not need anything, (unless
Rezart has a reason to actually
want a fighter). The game will shape itself around the characters.

... If we do mystic, I can play a cloistered battle-monk, or a wise and charismatic librarian curious about this world and what is underneath it.
You expressed a liking for 'monks', which is not unfeasible with your high stats being WIS (and CHA). I am not sure what a 'mystic' is or how it is different from a mage, but the above ideas can all work, (as can 'cleric' but we don't need to focus on labels).
Low current HP does not mean you are a squishy, they are not fixed at that and can change within the range of 1-6 each time you can heal.
Starting low can tell us that you have been sick recently or that you were just mugged, or that you were injured in the fight (in which case: were you with bandits? Guards? Someone else?). Maybe you are a prisoner and we need to free you (explaining the low health and how you come to join the group). Maybe you are just out of shape and need to acclimate to an adventuring life? Or maybe we don't focus on that for now, we don't need to explain it.
