As you both enter, the merchant stands and walks grandly towards you, arms outstretched.
"I hear I have you to thank for getting us through that mess." He says, indicating the captain as the source of this information. She looks a little peeved to be stuck in here 'doing honors' while there is work to be done to get the caravan moving, but seems to acknowledge that it needs to be done.
There are a handful of small leather purses on the table --all slightly different sizes-- and the merchant ponders them for a moment before lifting two of the larger ones and handing them over, one to each of you.
"As a token of our thanks." He explains.
"Keep up the good work."
That seems to be all he wanted you for. If you have anything you want to tell them, now is the time.
