You are able to leave the ruins of
Thundertree without encountering any of the nasties that
Reidoth had warned you about and have started your journey through the grasslands to
Cragmaw Castle. The morning sun continues to rise, removing any moisture from the tall grass left over from the previous night's rain. And while the ground is still wet, the further you get from the
Thundertree the less the mud seems to affect your travel.
It's just about noon when you reach the edge of
Neverwinter Wood. The tall trees allow a filtering of light through and the undergrowth, at least in this part of the wood, is nearly non-existent, making for easy travel over the light ground covering of old leaves and vines.
About and hour into the woods you can hear multiple deep, rough voices barking out to each other in the distance in some sort of Goblinoid tongue. Seconds later both
Belanor and
Gerbo catch glimpses of movement from either side of the group.

Everyone gets an action, and roll initiative as well, if you roll higher than 20 you may go again.
