Mai'ngor fights on. He slashes diagonally at the elemental's midsection: upwards with Sinag, downwards with the shortsword.

Rolls

Sinag attack, damage - (1d20+7, 1d8+7)

1d20+7 : (3) + 7 = 10

1d8+7 : (2) + 7 = 9

Drowcraft shortsword attack, damage - (1d20+6, 1d6+6)

1d20+6 : (14) + 6 = 20

1d6+6 : (3) + 6 = 9

Aug 16, 2016 5:29 pm
Mai'ngor misses his attack with Sinag, but draws a deep gouge across the things midsection with his other blade.
OOC:
78 damage so far. Soliin, Hunter, and Elfog have a turn still.
Aug 16, 2016 5:39 pm
Hunter continues her magical assault against the elemental, trying to whittle away at its rocky exterior with a flurry of three bolts of energy.

Rolls

Magic Missile vs Attacking Elemental - (3d4+3)

(224) + 3 = 11

Wild Magic Surge - (1d20)

(20) = 20

Aug 16, 2016 9:42 pm
Shrugging off yet another hit, Elfog twists his body as far back as he can, bringing his great axe behind him. With a blood curling scream he launches himself back at the elemental.
OOC:
Second verse, same as the first.

OOC:
Don't forget advantage on the second attack!
Aug 16, 2016 9:46 pm
OOC:
Frenzy only gives you advantage on your first attack, correct? Or am I missing something?

szemely says:

Reckless attack gives you advantage on all attacks
Quote:
Starting at 2nd level, you can throw aside all concern for defense to attack with fierce desperation. When you make your first attack on your turn, you can decide to attack recklessly. Doing so gives you advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using Strength during this turn, but attack rolls against you have advantage until your next turn.
Aug 16, 2016 10:16 pm
OOC:
I see, I misinterpreted the "When you make your first attack on your turn" phrase. Thanks!

Rolls

Advantage Attack - (1d20+7)

(17) + 7 = 24

Aug 16, 2016 10:30 pm
OOC:
No problem!
Hunter's magic slams into the stone monstrosity just as Elfog slams Tolvihar into its leg, taking it out and dropping it, one-legged, to the floor. It doesn't get back up.

Another one of the stone men comes out of the floor and faces out from the menhir. Moments later a familiar scene plays out and the last elemental explodes outward from the wall. This one is faster than the others and makes it to you before you can turn to face it. It swings once at Mai'ngor and kicks at Xeliss.

Xeliss manages to get out of its way, but Mai'ngor takes a hit in the side (16 damage).
OOC:
Your turn: Final Elemental!
Aug 16, 2016 10:35 pm
"Last one, people!!" Elfog yells, bringing Tolvihar high about his head and rushing forward to meet the latest threat. "DOWN. YOU. GO!!!"

EDIT: CRIT!!!

Tolvihar crashes hard into the chest of the elemental and deep cracks spread from the point of impact, but it doesn't slow it down any.
OOC:
17 damage total

Can't believe you got a 1 on the crit damage :(

"I don't understand why some attack and some defend," mutters Hunter, channeling more arcane power through her hand and launching four Magic Missiles at the elemental.

Rolls

2nd level Magic Missile - (4d4+4)

(2142) + 4 = 13

Wild Magic Surge - (1d20)

(13) = 13

OOC:
Just a clarification: The elementals that are attacking are different than the ones standing guard

The attackers you recognize as Earth Elementals, basically large stone people
The defenders are basically boulders with arms and legs

OOC:
Ah, my bad. Chalk it up to the chaos of battle.
Aug 16, 2016 11:26 pm
Hunter's missiles are proving to be an effective weapon against these things, as pieces of its rocky body fracture and crumble on being hit.
OOC:
30 damage total!
I'm really upset you haven't had a single wild magic surge!

Mai'ngor, Soliin, Xeliss?
Aug 17, 2016 7:35 pm
Mai'ngor dances circles around the elemental, lashing out with his blades all the while.

Rolls

Sinag attack, damage - (1d20+7, 1d8+7)

1d20+7 : (2) + 7 = 9

Aug 17, 2016 7:42 pm
I attempt to stay out of Mai'ngor's way as I growl and snap at the last elemental.

Rolls

Grr! Arg! - (1d20+5, 1d20+5, 2d6+3)

1d20+5 : (17) + 5 = 22

1d20+5 : (3) + 5 = 8

2d6+3 : (22) + 3 = 7

Aug 17, 2016 9:16 pm
Mai'ngor's dance is perfect. Unfortunately, his attacks aren't quite as good and he doesn't manage to land a solid blow on the thing.

Xeliss has a bit more luck, chewing on the back of its leg, she manages to take some more chunks out of it.

Soliin steps from the shadows and attacks twice from behind, hitting with both attacks.
OOC:
50 Damage Total

Rolls

Main Hand Attack - (1d20+8, 1d6+6)

1d20+8 : (12) + 8 = 20

1d6+6 : (1) + 6 = 7

Off Hand Attack - (1d20+7, 1d6+5)

1d20+7 : (11) + 7 = 18

1d6+5 : (4) + 5 = 9

Sneak Attack - (2d6)

(33) = 6

Aug 17, 2016 9:19 pm
The elemental, tired of Xeliss chewing on him, kicks back at the large wolf, knocking her off of his leg (18 damage). With the pesky wolf off of his leg he turns back to the irritating dwarf and swings a heavy arm at him, striking him with a heavy blow (15 damage).
OOC:
18 damage to Xeliss, 15 to Elfog, 50 total on the elemental

Back to your turn!
