OOC:
Ah, thanks. I made the silly assumption they didn't change the death rules. Ok then... kill them for the halfling! I'm just lie here, take a nap. Because I chose to.
OOC:
Don't forget to roll death saves
OOC:
Unless I'm misunderstanding it, I make that when I start a turn, right? And I assume luck blade applies; does halfling luck work too, since it is a saving throw?
Correct! Luck Blade applies, as does Halfling Luck :) You got pretty good chances, and that's if no one comes to stabilize you before it becomes an issue.

We'll make sure to loot your body before we head out...

The earth elemental raises both fists, unaware that its halfling rider has fallen off. It slams downward onto the slime.

Hunter fires her crossbow at the remaining slime, her bolt slipping through the fire to ignite the oil.

Seemingly unconcerned with the splashback from the slime, the earth elemental continues its assault.

The elemental charges and smashes the unoccupied ooze over and over again. Ooze flies everywhere and sizzles against his rocky hide. The ooze is smaller than before, but still moving about.

Hunter's bolt goes flying off into the darkness
OOC:
Everyone else still has an action and Soliin has to roll his death save!
Oct 24, 2016 3:25 pm
Mai'ngor draws his other blade and stabs the ooze with both weapons.
OOC:
Oops, typo on the shortsword base damage roll! Should be d6 of course, not d8!

Mai'ngor leaps of the remnants of the last ooze and begins slashing the other to bits. After a couple of hits it stops moving.
OOC:
Battle over! You all gain 440 xp!
Oct 24, 2016 3:49 pm
Mai'ngor inspects the drowcraft shortsword blade for damage from the ooze. He is confident Sinag's blade is unaffected.
Oct 24, 2016 3:54 pm
All of your magical weapons appear to be unaffected.

Soliin, your studded armor has it's AC bonus reduced by one due to the corrosive nature of the oozes.
Oct 24, 2016 4:16 pm
Mai'ngor sheaths his weapons and then remembers to check on Soliin. He kneels by the downed halfling.

Rolls

Medicine? - (1d20+1)

(14) + 1 = 15

Oct 24, 2016 4:28 pm
Mai'ngor is able to stabilize Soliin after a few frantic moments.
OOC:
Without magical healing, it will take 2 hours for him to wake up
Oct 24, 2016 4:44 pm
Battle over, I drop my form and head towards Soliin, shaking him awake.

Rolls

Healing word - (1d4+3)

(4) + 3 = 7

Oct 24, 2016 5:06 pm
Hunter takes a quick glance to see that Soliin is being tended to. She inspects the earth elemental to assess how much damage it has taken.
Oct 24, 2016 5:10 pm
The elemental seems to be mostly fine, with just a little bit of visible damage from the slime.
Oct 25, 2016 1:02 am
Mostly satisfied with the elemental's condition, Hunter keeps an eye down the tunnel and their destination until Soliin and the others are ready to move.

Rolls

Perception - (1d20+4)

(10) + 4 = 14

That was almost too easy! Elfog thinks, disappointed that he only got in a single attack during the battle, but glad that it's over nonetheless.
Oct 26, 2016 3:26 am
Soliin bolts up, legs still splayed in front of him, panting. He looks around, and noticing the ooze leaking around the floor, he quickly crawls backwards, climbing back onto the earth elemental. "I... I don't know if this is the place for me. I can't do this! I should just head back, not get in your ways..."
Oct 26, 2016 3:50 am
"Keep moving. I'll keep you alive, but it's probably a good idea to try not to die."
Oct 26, 2016 6:55 am
"You're likely a better shot with your crossbow than I am," suggests Hunter. "Hang back with me and we'll lend our support for the others at range."
Oct 26, 2016 9:22 pm
"Leave the heavy lifting to me and this one" Elfog responds as he motions to Mai'ngor. "We'll hit 'em up close while you and the others hit 'em from from distance!"
Oct 26, 2016 9:34 pm
You move forward down the tunnel as you can here more ooze approaching from behind you. Before long, they are out of hearing and safely behind you. After a couple more twists and turns in the tunnel you enter a relatively open passage. On the other side of the passage you see a crazed-looking gnome.

The insane, slime-covered deep gnome points at you and cackles."Devour them, my precious children! Make your father proud!" He then bolts as two oozes drop from the ceiling in front of you, their dark forms flowing in your direction with unsettling awareness and malevolence.
OOC:
The oozes go first, they rolled REALLY well on initiative

Enemy Turn in next post!
