The black ooze wiggles like jelly for a moment before a blob of black goop flies from it, straight at Elfog. It misses him by inches and flies off into the darkness.

Mai'ngor feels an intrusion in his mind and then a sharp pain in his head (9 damage).

After they attack, they begin to retreat down the hallway.

"Ha! Missed!" Elfog snickers as he rushes forward.

He'll use his movement to get behind one of those pillar looking things on the map and then take a ready action to attack anything that might come near him.

Maintaining her Mage Hand torch-bearer as needed, Hunter fires a flammable bolt at the grey ooze. She saves her magical power for the Pudding King himself, in the hopes that they can maintain pursuit.

I continue forward towards the oozes. Seeing how affective the fire seems to be, I conjure a ball of flame further down the hallway towards where the oozes are retreating.

Casting Flaming Sphere near the furthest edge where the oozes are (opposite side from us)

Crossbow in hand, Soliin stands a reasonable distance back, not wanting to get hit by the corrosive slime again. Grabbing two bolts from his case, he fires them in rapid succession.

As Xeliss summons her flaming sphere, Mai'ngor rushes past the waiting Elfog and slices into the retreating ooze. Right after Mai'ngor engages, Soliin and Hunter launch a volley of bolts into the gray ooze, turning into an immobile puddle on the floor.

The black ooze gurgles unhappily and launches an acidic black blob at Mai'ngor, which slams into his chest (6 bludgeoning [after damage resistance] and 34 acid damage)

Mai'ngor's magical blade carves large globs of ooze off of his enemy, but the acid that splashes back at him burns his flesh (10 acid damage).

The earth elemental glides forward, temporarily descending into the ground in its advance toward the black ooze. It rises up next to Mai'ngor and brings its hands together to crush the slime in a thunderous clap.

Current turn:
Hunter continues her attack, firing another crossbow bolt at the black ooze harassing the fey horseman.

The earth elemental also continues its assault, now with a one-two punch and uppercut to smash the ooze into nothing.
