So basically, pretty much everyone except Weiryn will her some noise coming from a house, maybe about 40-50 feet from the house where you found Mad Mary. Something seems to be shuffling inside the house...

Roland not sure what to expect uses this time to set the double hackbutt incase it needs to be fired.
OOC:
The gun takes a full action to prepare to fire, and then another full action to prepare to move. so it should be ready to fire now, but i can't move it with out spending a full turn getting it ready to move.Aug 8, 2016 6:04 pm

Oh, dear... Weiryn states as Veroth is unable to open the door. Should we knock? If there are innocents inside, then we must get them to safety.

After unlocking the door, Veroth unfolds his large wings and looks up, searching for any obvious entrances from a higher floor, specifically windows or such that may be easier to break into should no one answer Roland's knock.

There are already barred windows on the floor level. Taking flight, you will also notice a large hole on the side of the house as well as of the neighboring house.

Peering through the windows, Darren will notice that the interior of this building stinks like a slaughterhouse. Refuse lies thick on the floor, and the peeling walls are stained with some sort of dark liquid. A mouldering mattress, still in one piece, lies near the front door. Darren will notice that something seems to be stirring underneath the stained mattress.

Darren recoils from the smell, "Be alert, it smells like a slaughterhouse..." he says, relaying what he saw (noting particularly the stirring under the mattress), then raises his warhammer to smash out the boards on the window nearest him, "Stand back."

Glass shatter and a few board fly in splinters. Another solid hit like this should clear the way for someone to step through.

Darren winds up and takes another swing, this time taking the hammer in both hands. Once the boards are clear, he will strap his shield back onto his arm.
