I meant d2. :-)
Aug 17, 2016 8:05 pm
Ujjaya shoots his arrow in the maggot... but it is still standing. You are suddenly reminded how resilient those things were despite their small size...

Weiryn is up.
Aug 17, 2016 8:14 pm
Weiryn moves to the window where the party entered the building after seeing the second maggot try to attack Roland there. Reaching out, he attempts to use the power of his gauntlets to send jolts of electricity through the beast.
OOC:
Moving to B3, using a Touch Attack against the maggot in A3 by reaching through the window, because I really need to charge my batteries.
irvanovich sent a note to kalajel

Rolls

Touch Attack (Galvanic Gauntlets) - (1d20+3, 1d6)

1d20+3 : (13) + 3 = 16

1d6 : (2) = 2

Aug 17, 2016 8:55 pm
OOC:
Since you attck through the window ans there is a bit of wall, I'll grant the maggot cover, but you still hit.
Weiryn touches the maggot, sending a small jolt of electricity through its body, lightly shocking it.

Rolls

Shot 1 hit - (1d20+9)

(19) + 9 = 28

Shot 2 hit - (1d20+4)

(10) + 4 = 14

Shot 1 Damage - (2d12)

(36) = 9

Shot 2 Damage - (2d12)

(71) = 8

Aug 17, 2016 9:57 pm
OOC:
The maggot will have an attack of opportunity since you are using ranged combat while in melee.
The maggot hits Roland for 3 points of damage. Roland must roll a Fort save. Since the attack of opportunity happens before Roland's actual attack, I'll wait for your Fort save: you could become paralyzed before firing even once...

Rolls

Maggot's attack of opportunity

Aug 18, 2016 11:40 am
Fortitude -2 for sickened

Rolls

fortitude - (1d20+5)

(10) + 5 = 15

Aug 18, 2016 2:19 pm
OOC:
Okay, Roland is fine.
Roland shoots the maggot next to him, however it is still moving.

Kayleigh will attack the maggot in front of her again, this time she won't be using Combat Expertise and hope she'll kill it. Kayleigh destroys it on her first attack.

The maggot will now make its regular attack against Roland. The maggot will have missed.

Veroth is up next.

Rolls

Kayleigh's 1st attack - (1d20+9, 2d12+3)

1d20+9 : (10) + 9 = 19

2d12+3 : (65) + 3 = 14

Kayleigh's 2nd attack - (1d20+4, 1d12+3)

1d20+4 : (7) + 4 = 11

1d12+3 : (10) + 3 = 13

Maggot's attack

Aug 18, 2016 2:30 pm
Veroth sprints back to the rest of the gang, and tumbles through them into the corridor with Roland. He fires his short bow at the maggot.
OOC:
Once again, I'm not sure if I'm flanking due to Roland's weapon - if it was a melee weapon I would be. I included the sneak attack damage in the post in case it does.

Rolls

Shortbow - (1d20+11, 1d6+3)

1d20+11 : (9) + 11 = 20

1d6+3 : (3) + 3 = 6

sneak attack - (3d6)

(436) = 13

Acrobatics to tumble through friendly squares - (1d20+15)

(13) + 15 = 28

Aug 18, 2016 2:51 pm
OOC:
I'm not seeing Precise Shot nor Improved Precise Shot on your sheet, so you'll be taking a -4 for opponents in melee and your target will have cover bonus to AC (+2). And no, there is no flank here, Roland has no melee weapons out. There is also a feat required for that. Also, you do not need to tumble through friendly squares, you can pass through allies' square with no problem (unless they're paralyzed).
Veroth will miss his attack.

Darren is up next.
Aug 18, 2016 3:00 pm
OOC:
I know he doesn't have the feat so its a moot point, but if he did shouldn't he get the ranged flank bonus? It says if a enemy is in melee, and i am taking attacks of oppurtunities for shooting while in melee. So that means that the worm is then engaged in melee combat with me, even if i don't have a melee weapon out correct? Its a new feat for me so i have no idea how it works.
Aug 18, 2016 3:17 pm
OOC:
Effectively, you don't have a melee weapon on hand (even though your pistol could be, if you spent the grit for it). For a creature to be flanked, it has to be threatened in melee (or in range, when you have the right feat), on opposite sides/corners. If, for example, you and I were both threatening it with melee weapons, that maggot would potentially be f'ed in the bee.
Aug 18, 2016 3:21 pm
Darren will move over to help Weiryn kill the maggot outside the window.
OOC:
Tracking:
Naatkinson sent a note to kalajel
AC: 23 - Touch: 10 - Flat-footed: 23

Power Attack: -2 hit, +4 damage

I'm thinking the maggot will have cover from me, but he's the only enemy nearby

Rolls

Attack! - (1d20+8, 1d8+10)

1d20+8 : (7) + 8 = 15

1d8+10 : (8) + 10 = 18

Aug 18, 2016 3:31 pm
OOC:
I'll grant it total cover (+4AC) because you're not only attacking over a wall, but around the corner of a window, but the point is moot, you still missed it before accounting for cover.
Darren swings his hammer, but misses.

The zombie and rat will still cower in their orner, so Ujjaya is up next.
Aug 18, 2016 5:18 pm
Ujjaya pursues the fleeing undead.

OOC:
• Target: L8
• Fast Movement: Ujjaya's movement is 50ft.
• Deadly Aim: -2 attack, +4 damage (already included)
• Point blank (already included)
• Improved Precise Shot
• Perfect Strike: 6/day, must declare before rolling, once/round, as part of attack; roll two d20s for one bowshot, with the lower roll as confirmation if the higher threatens.
• Toxophilite: +2 trait bonus on attack rolls made to confirm critical hits with bows.

1d8+10 : (7) + 10 = 17

Aug 18, 2016 9:12 pm
OOC:
Weren't you starting to get low on arrows or something? I thought you said so during the town square battle...
Ujjaya shoots his arrow at the cowering zombie and hits, but a single arrow was not enough...

Weiryn is up next!
Aug 19, 2016 12:21 am
Weiryn reaches out again, placing his hands on the slimy flesh of the maggot before him to send the charge of the gauntlets through the beast.
OOC:
Scuffing my feet on the carpet right now...

Rolls

Scuffing feet on the carpet...(touch attack) - (1d20+3, 1d6)

1d20+3 : (2) + 3 = 5

1d6 : (6) = 6

Aug 19, 2016 12:39 am
