OOC:
@ irvanovich: you are holding the charge until you touch someone else with the spell or cast some other spell.

@ Naat: It is not a zombie, but rather the corpse on the map, the one you spotted before the encounter began.
Darren approaches the corpse, looking at the gleam which caught is eye. It is a silver pendant in the shape of a maple leaf, hung on a thin silver chain. He then grabs the letter from the pocket and reads it. The papers reveal the man's name to be Viktor Litmunova, a carpenter from Barovia... Perhaps this poor man has still living relatives who would wish to be informed of their loved one's passing...
Jul 6, 2016 10:37 pm
Darren takes the pendant and the note and says a quick prayer for Viktor Litmunova's soul.

After waiting close to a minute, everyone who was paralyze are eventually freed. Most mounts are combat trained and fine, but the mule probably required some effort to calm down and then convinced to keep going on. You are now ready to make your way deeper in the center of town when you suddenly hear a loud crash emanating from the for some distance in front of you (it is hard to approximate because of the constant moaning echoing through the town). Seems something is happening up ahead...
Jul 12, 2016 5:37 pm
Ujjaya strains his eyes forward, trying to penetrate the mist.

Rolls

perception - (1d20+17)

(12) + 17 = 29

Darren also peers ahead into the fog...
OOC:
Man, where do you get your +17 to perception from? Holy crap lol

Straining your eyes as much as you can through the mist, you think you can perceive movement maybe 100 or so feet ahead, but it's hard to say. You can, however, definitely hear the screams of panicked villagers, the moans of the dead, as well as the sound of combat...
Jul 12, 2016 7:44 pm
Roland will take time to insure all his weapon shown are fully loaded before proceeding.
