While none of the monster managed to do any damage this turn, you see how one more zombie is rising at the far end of the cave and start dashing your way, not yet reaching you (4) in battle map.

You could submit your next round moves now.
OOC:
If you happen to target zombie that is down by your turn I will choose a different target or ask you to choose one if it will not be obvious which one your character would target

Anguis moves 10 ft across (below zombie3) and attacks zombie 3 with his longsword.

Is this what happens, when one escapes from paying their toll for so long? he murmurs to himself.

To hit - (1d20+5)

(2) + 5 = 7

Damage - (1d8+3)

(4) + 3 = 7

Oct 12, 2021 3:34 pm
Phoenix frowns at the creature climbing the walls, but redirects his attention to the zombies. They are the more pressing threat for the time being, seeing as they keep appearing.
He raises his hand to fire another Blast of energy at zombie 3.

Rolls

Eldritch Blast V. Zombie 3 - (1d20+5)

(16) + 5 = 21

Damage V. Zombie 3 - (1d10+3)

(6) + 3 = 9

But not yet. Two attacks on Z2.

(9) + 5 = 14

Axe1 dmg - (1d6+3)

Zmbie 3 Undead Fortitude - (1d20+3)

(5) + 3 = 8

Oct 12, 2021 8:02 pm
Elrond turns to zombie 2 and without moving or flinching, lifts up his hands and fires another blast of ice and cold air, while letting out a scream of frustration

Aaarrrgghh

(7) + 5 = 12

(5) + 5 = 10

French, you must do it with disadvantage as there is a zombie 2 within 5ft. So please roll another 1d20+5.
Quote:
PHB Pg. 195
When you make a ranged attack with a weapon, a spell, or some other means, you have disadvantage on the attack roll if you are within 5 feet of a hostile creature who can see you and who isn't incapacitated.

Elrond (despite being distracted by zombie) manages to freeze him

Rolls

Zmbie Undead Fortitude - (1d20+3)

(2) + 3 = 5

Oct 13, 2021 6:27 am
OOC:
Bellow, I believe this is what you character does, I hope you don't mind:
Bellow seeing zombies near hom killed runs toward zombie 4 and swing both axes at it cutting significant pieces of flesh out of the zombie (15 damage taken).
Zombie is trying to Slam back
While the strange creature on the wall continues further by ceiling... when it is just above Elrond it falls down in attempt to hit Elrond

Rolls

Zombie slam - (1d20+3)

(6) + 3 = 9

Zombie damage - (1d6+1)

Sorry I've lost original battle map from my computer, so this may look bit different
Oct 13, 2021 6:53 am
Elrond, you could cast shield spell as reaction and take no damage or just take the 5 falling damage (but save your spell slot) - up to you. Your AC 12 and with shield it will be 17 - just enough to reflect attack

OOC:
good call for Bellow's action
with apparently only one Z left, I go defensive (dodge) to draw attention without getting hit again.

OOC:
What does the thing that crawled on the wall look like?

The thing that was falling from the ceiling is a medium size creature. When it was waiting for you on the ceiling it's mouth and ayes were closed and in the shades of grey it looked exactly like other stalactites.
Oct 13, 2021 8:03 am
Anguis moves closer to the worm monster (above Elrond) and swings down his sword in an attempt to attract its attention.

Rolls

To hit. (Longsword) - (1d20+5)

(5) + 5 = 10

Damage (Longsword) - (1d8+5)

(8) + 5 = 13

To hit, advantage if prone (Longsword) - (1d20+5)

(3) + 5 = 8

Oct 13, 2021 8:14 am
OOC:
Well, ok, let's rule that this worm is always in prone condition even when crawling wall or ceilings, except while it is hanging down ceiling pretenting to be stalactite.

GreyWord says:
Elrond, you could cast shield spell as reaction and take no damage or just take the 5 falling damage (but save your spell slot) - up to you. Your AC 12 and with shield it will be 17 - just enough to reflect attack
Elrond casts shield as a reaction to the falling worm, not taking any damage

As the abomination drops from the ceiling Phoenix sighs. He’ll have to start looking up in the maze.
With a snap of his fingers, white flames appear to burn the abomination.
OOC:
Abomination needs to make a DC 13 Dex Save, no damage if it succeeds.
Phoenix Vay
HP:(27/27)
AC:13
DC:13
Pact Magic:(2/2)
Healing Lights:(4/4)
OOC:
How’s everyone doing on health?

Rolls

Sacred Flame - (1d8)

(7) = 7

Oct 13, 2021 4:36 pm
Anguis sword jumps off the monster hard skin (AC is higher than 10), and sacred flame
Does it's damage and worm, but after flame radiance is gone you discover that worm excretes a foul-smelling slime. However the smell in this caver have been terrible all the time
Meanwhile bellow is dancing in front of the last zombie
OOC:
Elrond: still waiting for your move

Rolls

Dex save - (1d20+1)

(7) + 1 = 8

Oct 13, 2021 4:40 pm
Elrond ignores the annoying little worm and keeps his focus on the larger threat of the zombie. After successfully killing one zombie with Ray of frost already, Elrond looks at Z4 and fires another long line of icy cold air

Elrond will then use 2 sorcery points to use Quickened to use another Ray of Frost as a bonus action
