OOC:
I'd like to see what Gurag does before Kip acts. For reference, how would attempting to tie up Gen work, roll-wise?

[DIE ROLL]

Rolls

Gurag Initaitve

1 Success, 1 Advantage

Total: 1 Success, 1 Advantage

Gurag Smash!

1 Success, 5 Advantage, 2 Threat

Total: 1 Success, 3 Advantage

Dec 8, 2021 9:24 pm
WIth surprising grace Gurag leaps from the speeder before it comes to a stop and runs towards Grewhit Gen. He easily muscles past Eedha, stiff arming him in the face as he goes by for good measure. Before the stunned Imperial suck up can react he gets a face full of brass knuckle! His head snaps back and he takes a few woozy steps to each sidebefore regaining his balance.
OOC:
Kip still has a turn before we get to initiative order. Once he has taken his turn, we'll start round one, with any PC able to take the slot (including Kip)

In order to bind Gen at this point it would be an opposed Brawn or Agility check vs Gen's Brawn (2). I've used 2 of Gurag's Advantages to activate Disorient (so he's disoriented), so there is one left to use, and I'll throw in a free one as well due to him just catching a fist with his face. I've also activated a destiny point for Gen. So, difficulty would be....

1Red, 1Purple - and you have two Boost die at your disposal, plus whatever else you come up with.

Kuvo and Jinvu are down, but not out!

Taking advantage of Gurag's tackle, Kip runs around Gen, attempting to tie him up with the binder.

Even in his stumbling state, Gen is able to squirm his wrists away from Kip's attempt at binding him.

"Do you realize who I am! I'll have you all executed for this!"
OOC:
We're now at the top of the round. Any one PC can act.

Kuvo and Jinvu are down, but not out!

OOC:
Do we want to have Gurag go first and try to grab Gen? Or have Guy try and stun his hired muscle?
Dec 10, 2021 12:00 am
OOC:
I think we need to handle the muscle first. Another round of hits from those two won't go well.
Dec 10, 2021 3:14 am
OOC:
I think taking out the bodyguards isn't a bad idea.
Dec 10, 2021 5:26 am
OOC:
I really don't wanna miss, mind if I use a Destiny point and a boost die from the pool?
Dec 10, 2021 5:32 am
OOC:
I personally don't mind.

OOC:
Apologies for the extended radio silence everyone - totally fine with taking the bodyguards out of the equation and also fine with you using a DP @crazybirdman :)

Guy doesn't want Gen (or Eedha) to get away, but he figures the Mirilians are going to be a bigger problem if they get up. If. He takes his last stun grenade, giving it all he can, says a silent prayer, and throws it at Kuvo. He then turns back to Gen and Eedha, 'Gentleman, I did say we insist'
OOC:
@mcneils5 glad you're still with us!
Using a DP to upgrade the check, AND taking 2 strain to use two maneuvers to aim twice, AND using one boost die from the teams' pool. Sorry, really don't want these guys to get up.
OOC:
Aargh! All that and I still miss! Blast still activates and hits them both right? that's more important.

Shielding themselves the best they can from the expected detonation of Guy's grenade, the two downed Mirialans watch as the weapon appears to have missed its mark. Their relief is only temporary, however, as they're still caught in the blast, causing both to involuntarily twitch about on the ground for several seconds.

The smaller of the two thugs seems to recover quickly and manages to grab his blaster pistol while righting himself to a seated position. He takes aim at the grenade tosser and jerks the trigger, sending a blaster bolt high and wide.

Able to clear his head just a bit, Gen strikes out at his attacker, punching the large Weequay in the stomach with all of his might. Gurag's lack of reaction to the attack sends a shiver down Gen's spine as he starts to shake his hand in pain.

Eedha, clearly uncomfortable with all of the fighting going on around him, still does his best to make it look like he's an innocent in all of this. He throws down his weapon and screams a high pitched battle cry, charging at Kip and taking a wild haymaker that is obviously more for show than anything else before stumbling forward and landing on the ground.
OOC:
Yep, 3 Advantage can activate the Blast 8 even on a miss.
Gurag easily soaked away any damage from Gen's punch.

Kuvo and Jinvu are down, but not out!

Kip decides to leave Gen to Gurag. Instead, he straddles the fallen Eedha, putting a binder on him.
OOC:
Would I need to roll for this, since Eedha would probably let it happen?

OOC:
No roll needed.
Dec 11, 2021 2:32 am
Tayen pushes through the pain of her injury and pulls her blaster. She struggles to maintain focus as she levels the weapon at Kuvo and pulls the trigger, sending out the circular blue flash of a stun blast.
OOC:
It turns out I forgot that Tayen has padded armor on when I calculated the soak for her last hit. She should have taken 4 wounds instead of 6. This round, she is going to take 2 strain to make an extra maneuver: 1 maneuver to draw the pistol and 1 to Aim. 1 Purple difficulty for short range, but I believe also 1 setback for the target being prone.

That all puts Tayen herself at 8 Wounds remaining and 11 Strain.

Nice roll! So that's 12 Strain damage. I'll use those 2 advantages to give 2 boosts to the next PC. Perhaps the clearly solid shot gives the next ally a boost of confidence, or maybe causes their target to become momentarily shaken and easier to attack.

Eedha does his best to play the part of a struggling soon-to-be captive, rolling on the ground and putting up a fuss. His extensive use of rarely heard expletives is actually quite impressive. But when he feels the binders pressing against his wrists he relaxes just a bit to allow Kip to secure him.

"Rebel Scum!"
Kuvo shakes his head as he attempts to sit up only to be hit with Tayen's stun blast. The Mirialan thug lets out a screech before sprawling out, back down, on the grass.
OOC:
Gurag is up.

Jinvu is in a seated position, down, but not out!
Kuvo is out of the fight.

Gurag grins at Gen from behind his mask "Gonna do this the hard way then? Good!" he says as he launches another series of blows at the Imp....
OOC:
So 7 damage - he's still Disoriented for another couple of rounds isn't he? If so I'll use the 2 x Advantage to give me the next PC a Boost and get 1 Strain back..
