Almost with a death like grip, Meridia stormed back to her residence on the Walk of Elders. Storming into her residence she startled the young apprentice she left in charge of her home. "M-m-m-m-mistress Meridia I w-w-wasn't expecting you back so s-soon..." the apprentice went to continue bumbling before being cut of by his impatient teacher. " Quiet Aeris. You have been training with Camberon for your electives right? Bring me some healing." The apprentice scattered leaving Meridia some time to think.
Touching her fingers to her temple, the mage attempted to cast out the headache she could feel coming on. That failing she poured a half tumbler of suntouched special, and spiked it with a hint of mana.
How could these fools let petty ideological disagreements get in the way of good research contempt filling her mind
I will write there college immediately to complain. Sipping at her drink Meridia set about the task of writing a scalding letter to the academy in Dalaran.
After a few minutes Aeris returned clutching a small red vial. "Here you are Mistress, is this the reason you returned so early were you attacked along the way" the apprentice was timid, but clearly regaining some composure. "No, those ... fools in Dalaran refused to give me access to the city. Apparently politics is interfering." She sculled the potion, it tasted too strongly of silver leaf but the gentle warmth of healing magic still filled her form. She examined the wound, though the cut had completely healed the graying still remained. "Clearly you need further practice in the alchemical arts, your potion was defective." The apprentice squeaked in shock "S-s-s-s-sorry M-m-mistress..." his babbling fell on deaf ears as the Mage was already halfway to the door. "I will need to see Camberon personally then, I will let him know of your incompetence."
With much intent and some measure of anger, Meridia stormed towards the Sunfurry Spire.
