I'm looking for some entertainment while my regular game is on hiatus and hoping to see the different narrative storytelling style of PbtA.
Is your regular group a PbP group or is PbP also one of the 'different' things you are hoping to see?

... and one short campaign of Dungeon World.
Did you read through the Dungeon World book? It is not necessary, I am just calibrating, so we know how to explain anything that comes up.
paladintodd says:
... Is there a synopsis of the current situation I'm not finding? A quick What's Happening and These Are the Characters?
Arg, no. It is a bit of a mess, I am sure the existing players could benefit from a summary as well. :)
Given the nature of this game, we have had a few players pop in, do a bit and then vanish, so there is a lot there that is not very relevant anymore.
Reading through it will not be the best use of your time, but you are welcome to do so. If you do: Feel free to ask questions, about anything that happened, how things were ruled and how else they could have gone, so you can get a feel for what to expect.
I may read through what we have and create a better summary, but for now:
Following their desire to see the world,
Meht and
Rook signed on as caravan guards, wandered off and reported late for duty (making themselves a little less popular with the administration than they could have been).
Their places had been filled by NPCs, one of which (Calum) is a criminal who has beef with
Rook (but does not recognise
Rook quite yet).
This Calum was espied sneaking back into camp last night, and this morning the caravan was ambushed by bandits who appear to have heard about the recent plan to take a different route.
The PCs and their fellow guards fought off the bandits, but sustained injuries.
Meht has made some discoveries about the bandits. There is a map and a tattoo. We (the players) don't know yet what these mean.
That is where we stand.
