OOC:
Valrakas, you should roll a d8 as well.
As Valrakas recklessly charges in, he doesn't notice that the rope between him and the rest of the party had been cut. The perpetrator was none other than the captain of the Orange Kobolds! His scimitar sliced the rope, and he swaggered onto the bridge in front of Qiora. He raises is sword at her, and shouts something in Draconic. Looks like he wants to fight!
OOC:
Roll initiative for 1v1 combat, Qiora.

This might get a little complicated, with different things happening to everyone, but it'll be fine! We have the power of... forum posts to keep track of it all.

Rolls

Orange Captian initiative - (1d20+2)

(9) + 2 = 11

Dec 21, 2016 10:19 pm
Qiora nearly stumbles as the rope is cut, catching her balance as her momentum stops.

Rolls

Initiative - (1d20)

(12) = 12

Dec 21, 2016 10:30 pm
"Oh!" says Qiora as the kobold challenges her. "You know, I do Suggest that it's a fairer deal if you give me your sword, yes?"
OOC:
Casting Suggestion. Wisdom save vs DC 14 or it pursues the course of action I suggested.
Dec 21, 2016 11:06 pm
Rhograx smiles.

Rolls

table says - (1d8)

(2) = 2

Dec 21, 2016 11:08 pm
OOC:
How many friends and foes are within 15' of me?
Dec 22, 2016 3:36 am
Are we stayin' t' fight? Even better! Valrakas roars, looking for someone to fight. He pulls Yilziss' mask over his face and starts beating his chest. RRRAAARRGGHHHH
OOC:
Not sure if I'm allowed to enter Rage before initiative but seems to fit what's happening.

Rolls

1d8 - (1d8)

(8) = 8

Initiative - (1d20+1)

(15) + 1 = 16

Dec 22, 2016 6:21 am
OOC:
@Rhograx - The rest of the party is about 100 feet away. Valrakas is is closest, since he charged ahead, but he's caught up in a fight. @Valrakas - Raging is a bonus move anyway, so it's fine.

List of initiatives:
Qiora - 12
Orange Captain -11

Valrakas - 16
Blue Captain - 14

Rhograx - ?
Kobold - 14
Qiora's opponent falls under her spell, and hands her his scimitar. He throws the weapon at her feet, and the spell ends. Looking around confusedly, resorts to pulling out a much smaller dagger. (That ends his turn)

A few yards down the bridge a similarly dressed kobold approaches Valrakas, except this one is wearing mostly blue. It's wielding a sword and shield, and bangs the two together noisily. (Valrakas gets the first move)

Even further down the bridge, Rhograx finds himself surrounded by kobolds fighting each other. Somehow he finds himself in a standoff! An orange kobold has a crossbow pointed at Rhograx, and is motioning for him to put gold inside of his bag.

Rolls

Blue Captain initiative - (1d20+2)

(12) + 2 = 14

Kobold Initiative - (1d20+2)

(12) + 2 = 14

Orange Captain WIS save - (1d20-2)

(13) - 2 = 11

Dec 22, 2016 7:13 am
As Valrakas rushes the blue captain the brass tips of the minotaur's horns begin to throw sparks. The electric halo and Yilzyss' mask combine for an effect that is truly menacing. Or comical. It could be comical. The two combatants are wreathed in lightning as Valrakas tries to gore the kobold and shove him off the bridge and into the swirling sand below.
OOC:
Rage + Hammering Horns + Reckless Attack + Storm of Fury

Goofed up: the mask grants +2, not +1. Intimidation result is 11 (in case it matters).

1d10+5 : (3) + 5 = 8

Lightning damage (save DEX DC 11 for half) - (2d6)

(65) = 11

Being at the back of the line Kyros watches intently as rhograx talks to the kobolds. He doesn't notice as valrakas sets off at a sprint until he gets dragged along too. So he starts too run to keep up until the top is cut.

Being at the back how far would that put Kyros from the rest of the party?

Rolls

Initiative - (1d20+2)

(8) + 2 = 10

What happens in the bridge - (1d8)

(5) = 5

OOC:
Should I wait until everyone else has taken a turn before proceeding with my duel?
Dec 22, 2016 4:29 pm
OOC:
I'm sorry, I went and started mine without even asking!
Dec 22, 2016 4:42 pm
OOC:
No worries Valrakas, I took a turn as well. But now that others are getting into it, I don't know how confusing it would get if we went out of sequence.
Dec 22, 2016 10:36 pm
OOC:
Sorry forgot to roll

Rolls

initiative - (1d20)

(18) = 18

Dec 22, 2016 10:37 pm
How many enemies are withing 15'?
Dec 23, 2016 6:49 am
OOC:
I can handle the chaotic mess, think of it as a realistic portrayal of the confusion of battle... just in a forum.

List of initiatives (Bold = It's your turn):
Qiora - 12
Orange Captain -11

Valrakas - 16
Blue Captain - 14

Rhograx - 18
Kobold - 14
(@Valrakas - Putting effort into intimidating would take an action, so you can't do that AND attack in the same turn)
The Blue Captain actually manages to deflect Valrakas's attack with is shield, guess he's captain for a reason. Valrakas successfully shoves him off the bridge, but the kobold's surprising gymnastic ability allowed him stay on the bridge (He bounced off the ropes like a WWE wrestler). The Blue Captain gives Valrakas a smirk, and is promptly electrocuted by the static buildup in the air (6). After he recovers, he attempts to slash at Valrakas - but only hits the air.

(@Kyros - Give me a DEX save! Also, the rope was untied the moment Rhograx left to talk to the pirates. You won't be involved in the other combats, unless you want to help out)

(@Rhograx - Just one attacking you, but I'll say there's about 5 in the general area that are fighting each other.)

Rolls

Blue STR - (1d20-2)

(8) - 2 = 6

Blue DEX - (1d20+2)

(12) + 2 = 14

Blue Acrobatics - (1d20+4)

(10) + 4 = 14

Nalu and Peat's Roll - (1d8)

(3) = 3

Blue Attacks - (1d20+4, 1d20+4)

1d20+4 : (2) + 4 = 6

1d20+4 : (5) + 4 = 9

Dec 23, 2016 7:03 am
Nalu and Peat make a dash to make it across, but their small statue does not go unnoticed by the kobolds. An orange pirate on a rather unsafe looking boat manages to lasso Nalu, and pulls him right off of Peat! The boat is headed downstream, so it quickly zooms away. Left without his buddy, Peat wisely scampers underneath the bridge to plan his next move.

It looks like the boat that nabbed Nalu is making a wide turn, and the kobold will slowly row it back towards his side of the bridge. Peat carefully positions himself on the trajectory of the boat, so he attack while it passes under.

Rolls

Nalu STR Save - (1d20-3)

(5) - 3 = 2

Dec 23, 2016 7:06 am
Qiora picks up the scimitar, unfamiliar with the blade, but satisfied that she at least has a melee weapon now. She swings it once with a flourish (nearly taking off part of her hat), and stares at the kobold captain. "You know, orange was so three seasons ago," she says disparagingly, words laced with arcane dissonance.
OOC:
Casting Dissonant Whispers.

Rolls

Dissonant Whispers, Wisdom save DC 14 - (3d6)

(356) = 14

Dec 23, 2016 7:08 am
Kyros will move 30" closer and help out who ever needs the most help

Rolls

Dex save - (1d20+2)

(18) + 2 = 20

Long bow attack - (1d20+6)

(7) + 6 = 13

Dec 23, 2016 7:09 am
The Orange Captain boldly stares down Qiora... and while the spell does it's damage (7), the kobold remains stalwart. Guess he was also a captain for good reason. He spins his dagger and makes two thrust attacks but only one connects. He proudly pats his colored clothing and speaks to Qiora.

"My good looksss never go out of ssstyle!"

(@Kyros - That would be Qiora, she's the closest)

A volley of crossbow shots, arrows, and slung rocks bombards Kyros's position, but he manages to cleanly duck out of the way. After recovering, he takes a shot at the Orange Captain. The arrow barely manages to hit the slippery kobold. (Roll damage, please. You interrupted their duel! :P)

Rolls

Orange Cap WIS save - (1d20-2)

(17) - 2 = 15

Orange Cap Attacks - (1d20+4, 1d20+4)

1d20+4 : (4) + 4 = 8

1d20+4 : (18) + 4 = 22

Orange Damage - (1d4+2)

(3) + 2 = 5

Rhograx casts at 2nd level

Thunderwave
A wave of thunderous force sweeps out from you. Each creature in a 15 foot Cube originating from youmust make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d8 thunder damage and is pushed 10 feet away from you. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t pushed.

In addition, unsecured objects that are completely within the area of effect are automatically pushed 10 feet away from you by the spell’s effect, and the spell emits a thunderous boom audible out to 300 feet.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 1st.

Rolls

damage - (3d8)

(446) = 14
