"Khadi, my HERO!" Tabat shouts. He pounds his chest amd a burst of radiance passes as a wave up and down his body, rejuvinating him.
He takes a quick step to the side so as to put the creature between him and Abenor.

Abenor and Tabat are now immune to the sleep aura (for 24 hours), but both of their attacks fail to hit the target. Iseret slumps to the ground (a standard action to wake him).

The acid does damage, while Jaware's arrow does not. AC 15, Damage Resistance 10/bludgeoning, hp 12/30.
It pummels at Tabat once more, but seems to be looking shifty, like it might bolt. It hits again. Tabat takes 4 dmg and must make another DC 14 Will save against the touch attack. Everybody is up.

Tabat pulls his weapon back, ready to drive it forward for another blow against the devilish creature. Instead, the entity slams into him, driving the wind from his chest and before he knows it, he's falling to the ground again. That's not a pillow, he thinks as his mind goes sideways.

'Seriously!?' Khadi yells as Tabat falls over again. 'Did you not sleep last night? She gives him a very forceful poke with the butt of her spear, before running around to Iseret ready to start waking her up as well.

Though it seems like many minutes, Tabat is awoken almost immediately by Khadi's poking and ribbing. "Huh?" he says, momentarily befuddled, then stands again. He shakes his head, "Thrice-damned thing!" he says, "Keeps messing with my head!" He swings his weapon around for another strike.

Throwing another Will save in, just in case its needed. Otherwise, looks like I may have a critical hit! I'm assuming I was able to get into flanking position with Abenor, giving another +2 to hit.Last edited April 18, 2022 8:32 pm

'Tabat, next time you start a fight, do me a favour and don't then fall asleep.' Khadi teases and she catches her breath then crouches over Iseret, shaking her awake with far more care than the bludgeoning Tabat had received.

Tabat bends forward, the weight of the flail sinking into a pile of sand on the ground as he places his other hand on his knee and catches his breath. "Yeah," he says to Abenor, "Tough is about right. The thing kept tryin' to make me fall asleep. Falling asleep during the heat of battle, heart pounding, that was one hell of a weird feeling." He shakes his head and stands straight. He hefts the flail up and comments - "I think I like this thing, though."
Tabat uses the handle of the weapon to poke around in the sand - maybe the creature was guarding something useful.
