Chapter 1 : Greenest in Flames

As the other kobolds come into view Xarathon adjusts his target to be the farthest of the five visible ones and moves to the edge of the river to let the others with lesser range pass him but still give him clear visibility to his target.

ok then...Roll Initiative GreyWord

Xarathon positions himself for a clear shot and fires a bolt of flame at the farthest Kobold.

Brommyr lines up his shot and lets the bolt fly!

Jaelyn, unsure of how druid magick works, draws back her hand to throw a magic stone at the nearest kobold.

Hunter moves over the stream to get better view and throws his stone then moves further into the bushes /trees to get some cover, while nergising new stones

3 Kobolds die instantly and the other two seeing this they are scared and run away.


the woman you saved before says: ''Wow, you are so strong, I am feeling safe with you...thank you for helping us''
Linan looks shocked (but in a good way, like wow they are so strong) and says: ''Lets move, the keep is not far away, I hope we are in time and they have not closed the gates"

"As you said. Let us make haste before they return with perhaps greater numbers."
And with that Xarathon breaks into a light jog, thinking it would be ignoble to actually run and perhaps convey fear.

Linan says : "Which way shall we go...let me think....we can choose the road on the left....but we might find other kobolds to fight or we can choose the more direct route, but if we do that... we need to run fast... because we will be exposed in an open area. What shall we do?''

"I say let's follow the river and then cut across. We can't avoid the open area forever so the faster we get there the better."

I agree, let's stick to the river then turn and make a beeline for the keep. Brommyr says, stowing his shield on his back. We should be watchful for more kobold, and treat them the same as the last. Hit fast and hard to drop as many as possible. Maybe can keep them scared.

As you walk further you see at the distance the keep. Out of the sudden, you see the dragon flying down and graps two guard up to the air and throws them to the ground. The other guards throw arrows to him. The dragon yells to them " You fools! You can't defeat me! Who did he dare to summon me? I would kill you all! But none of you is a worthy opponent! ''

Then the dragon flies away and Linan yells: "The gate! They are closing it! We need to run now!''

Xarathon begins to jog, expecting the others to dash for the gate. He lets others get ahead of him before he breaks into a full run.

Brommyr truly is a sight to see running, his squat legs pushing into the ground with a clank of metal. He keeps his focus on the gate, the safety of stone just a few strides away.

Hunter hesitates for a moment watching the Dragon. He admires seeing the magical creature so close. But when he see everyone start running he try to catch up.
