So every roll that you are trained in unless its an ability gets a wild die? I have the deluxe handbook and Im still trying to learn. I think the character creation is amazing,

I think it's pretty cook. Checks get the wild die you usually roll some kind of trait (Attribute or a skill) plus a wild die (Since PCs are special named characters in the story). If you're unskilled it's 1d4-2 but you roll the wild die as well but it also gets the -2. Acing the die though still counts a d4 on 4 or a d6 on 6 isn't a 2 or 4 necessarily, you keep rerolling until it doesn't "Ace" then minus the two.

How exactly do the cards work

It's normal playing cards for initiative in Savage Worlds versus a d20 system. I draw them and hand them out. There's some edges that give you better cards or things happen when you get certain cards. During a chase is the only time Club is bad.

Very sorry all, but I need to bow out of my PbP games for the foreseeable future. I am no longer able to post easily during the day, and I have too much going on in the evenings. My post have been sporadic, and I feel its time for me to call it rather than drag things out.

I hope to be able to return to at least some games in the future.

I appologize to all the GMs and players I am in games with. I've really enjoyed gaming with all of you! I especially appologize for messing up the narrative of the games I am a player in. I hate to do it, but real life circumstances have forced my hand.

Just a heads up, between a Biker festival in the area a Fleetwood mac cover band this weekend coming to town (No idea who Fleetwood Mac is really but I love my wife so I might end up taking her) and Gen Con next week I'm going to call it I'll be spotty or not posting until after August 9th. Yes this is a blanket statement for all the games I'm in. So if we can wrap up the combat before the weekend awesome otherwise you guys will have to wait till after the first week of August as to what other hijinx will ensue. Granted we're down three people I think though.

I had fun. Never played savage worlds before. Probably need to play more to get used to it but it was really fun man, liked your one shot.

It's odd to get interest in the system which has been around for over ten years (stock mechanics). If I can get enough interest I could run a game or go through character creation, I did have an open ended game though for 1-many players going in the Agent Oblivion setting if anyone was interested but its a bit of a mix mashup for the setting concept.
