Hello all,

I'm Ncoturne9 (N9 or whatever nickname you see fit is fine). I started playing tabletop games roughly a decade ago, and forum RP longer ago than that, but never really mixed the two so I thought I'll give it a shot. My main experiences are with Pathfinder 1st Edition and D&D 5e, but I'm looking away from those systems to try something else. I'm also Australian and love puns, no matter how pun-ishing some find them.

To join a game, keep your eyes on the Games Tavern, where GMs advertise their games and look for players.

I think more smaller scale games, like Monsterhearts, Bubblegumshoe and the like from what I vaguely know of those systems. PF and D&D can certainly have those settings, but they tend to rapidly outgrow normal everyday. I'm not against larger scale games, plenty of times I've played people who become world-saving super powerful people, just want to try out the opposite.

They do tend towards the 'epic'.
Monsterheats is quite the opposite, it tends to fall apart when you try to 'save the world'... though I have done it (with reluctance:).
