Hell Hound breath saving throw AGAIN.... gr.... DC(12) DEX And once again Thorem is roasted. This time for 13 hps of fire damage. Well at least this time it roasts his backside instead of his front side. Somehow, Thorem isn't at all happy about it.

Anguis squeezes upfront with the hound and nags at him. Disappointment clear in his voice Come on! infernal You hurt the pack! Bad! He points out that Torhem and Bellow got caught in flames.

Bellow was so close the flames had not spread out when they shot past him. Taking only 7pts of dmg.
I squeeze past Thorem (unless he moved already) to move about 10' down the path to the right.
Anguis, you're going on point! I'll not let that thing behind me again.

Smoking Thorem turns around with great restraint from using the greataxe on the Hell Hound. That will be Thorem's round. Anguis can see there is murder in Thorem's dark brown eyes.

When Bellow pass by Thorem and moves north he spot a large spider approaching from the bottom of the rift which is deeper than 60 foots (and it is dark so none of you could see beyond that).
Duergar

Duergar in the construct drops rock from his pincers and silently attacks Thorem, you notice now that his mouth is moving like if to say something, but you no voice. He use both his claws (picner) and hammer to attack (I assume Thorem try to dodge, so attacks with disadvantage)


Spider

Meanwhile the spider makes it's way up the wall and you see just as grey skinned dwarf as this one riding the spider. Rider talks to you on dwarvish, so I assume only Thorem and Bellow understands him

Rider spend his action to do "IMPROVISING AN ACTION" to talk with PCs during battle encounter as I've explained previosuly
But as he is NPC we will not roll dice. It is up to players to decide how his speech impacts their PCs

Hellhound on his turn try to move forward to attack creature. I decided to do contested Str check with Anguis. If Hellhound wins he moves and Bubbles could decide if Anguis let it go or is moved(dragged) with it

Yep hellhound on his turn makes attempt to move forward but with no any progress as Anguis stop it.
Anyhow we continue in turn order. Everyone explain their PC action/movement. If you don't want to attack you could explain "improvised action"- anything at all just like if we were outside initiative, but would need to fit in about 6 seconds of performing

Thorem leaves the spot he is at and heads down the way to the north of us. He is leaving the Duergar chained and not going to kill him. That and he wish to avoid a conflict with Anguis by killing the Hell Hound. That and the Hell Hound is actually 10' away and not in the immediate killing rages range. Leave the Duergar to his own he says as he moves.

Thorem disengages to avoid any AOO and moves 25' on the path to the north watching the spider with luring eyes and getting ready to dodge it.

Mal will grab a javelin and say, "Anguis, let me know if you need help with that thing."

He will ready an action, that if he sees an ally attacked by any hostile, he will throw his javelin at that hostile creature.
