A somewhat related question: how far away is Snake's Demise from Alhereth in travel days? I have enough rations for 3 days for 6 people, would that be enough for us to not starve on the way (and back)? XD

Did you know the term break a leg was coined because until those unions were made the only way to guarantee being paid for a performance was to be given an insurance pay out? True story.

Sadly those same unions now extort performers and practice selective favoritism and other forms of corruption to get performers to work for free while they get paid.

Though this is coming from a bitter actor who had had too many bad experiences with the local union.

Gang. Baelrick isn't a bard. He's a drunk. I never described him singing well. In fact I have tried to allude to him being a bit gruff and foul.

My vision of him is the Anti-Gandalf. Where Gandalf was wise, regal, cultured, and respectful, Baelrick is not. Where gandaf was frail, old, and mellow, Baelrick is not.

Hail Baelrick, that bastard will live one thousand years.

Thallan realizes that, but he is a Ranger for a reason. He is more like the Anti-Legolas. He believes in the good of man, but he doesn't always agree with man's laws and will take justice into his own hands.

He despises those who frighten little children without a care and he has a burning hatred for Orcs and other evil doers. He has few words and even less patience. Kill them all and let the gods sort sinner from saint!

This is really interesting to me because Tyr is the anti-Aragorn. He's scum, from nowhere, who has almost infinite faith in Iluvatar. Where Aragorn has basically every favor with everyone, Tyr has the enmity of all. Though to be fair, he has a lot of the same physical qualities. I think he might even be swifter. I think with his power to heal he will make an awesome combat medic.

His strength should be 15. Think I'll invest in that, and hit points. Once him and Baelrick make peace they're going to be a berserkergang. It'll be rad.

That. And to this I'll add that I've not seen any Performance check made... :D

So, as far as BV, I like the idea that there isn't a set currency. There are coins, but it's just weights of fine metals. Stones, gems, scrimshaw, animal teeth, etc

Same, I prefer trade goods to coins. Although I wouldn't mind if we use coins either. :)

I'm going to have to ask some of you to slow down posting a bit. I know that I, and many other players see posting frequency as a suggestion rather than a hard rule, but for some players, this is what they can afford to post.

I've been receiving some complaints that the game is moving a bit too fast, and personally, I tend to agree as this game is starting to take a lot of my focus which I would normally split among my other games on here.

So please be mindful of your other fellow players in that regard.

Sorry about that! I'll slow it down on my end. I just got really excited about the character of Baelrick.

We haven't heard from Unacceptableusename in a hot minute. Are we continuing on without them, or giving it some time?

No Zs next to his username yet, so that's a good sign. He could be a bit busy with real life at the moment. I'm willing to wait a bit if you're all fine with that, otherwise, I'll move the plot along...

I dont mind waiting. But what's the TV time limit?

My game has a posting suggestion of 3 posts per week, so we can afford to wait a bit more. I might be a bit busy myself in the following couple of days (large golf tournament fundraiser for the organism I frequent among other things), so I'm fine waiting a bit more because of that. I'd say, later that week (thursday or friday), or early next week (monday), I should be able to push forward, whether we heard from Unnaceptable or not...
