Presto moves up from behind the wall and sees Varla and Lorne are sitting up, though not looking healthy by any means. "Varla, Lorne! We'll get you out of here soon, I promise!"

As he speaks to them he pulls The Hat off his head and holds it by the tip. Smoke begins to come out of the bottom as he rears back and whips it over his head like a sling. A ball of light appears and flies into the air, growing larger as it does so. A baseball, a grapefruit, a bowling ball, a beachball, bigger and bigger until it falls into the fortress once more. A massive explosion erupts, blasting all of them with fiery intensity but leaving them unharmed (minus a bit of charring and a smell of smoke on their clothes). The orcs, mages, and trolls, however...

The fire elemental seems completely unharmed by it. The living fire spills over the edge of the fortress onto the ground and quickly roared, spreading across the ground before coalescing inside the fortress once more. It leaps onto one of the orcs there, quickly catching onto what's left of their smoldering form.

Man, you guys are killing it with battlefield control. Not much left to do but damage.

Presto casts a level 7 fireball, centered onto square F11. That hits everything except the orcs on B7 and I7. All of those creatures need to make a Dex save, DC 21 (half damage if pass). This uses another 7 charges of The Hat (36 remaining).

The fire elemental makes his grand tour again, lighting up both big trolls as well as the orcs on D10, D11, and F10 before smacking the orc at D11 (or whichever of those three orcs is still alive after the explosion/fire). I think I remember DM saying the walls were 20 feet high, so that does 2d6 falling damage to the fire elemental (I'll roll for ease, DM can reroll if preferred).

EDIT: Sad fireball damage rolls. The second "Touch Damage 1" should've said "Touch Damage 2".

The searing light of Presto's fireball illuminates the courtyard, glistening off Bobby's rippling muscles which are slick with the barbarian's sweat mingled with poisonous troll gore.

The caustic cataclysm which engulfed the enemies outside wasn't as lethal as it could have been but it did incinerate one mage. The fire elemental made its rounds, burned almost everyone, and plasma punched one unfortunate orc out of his misery and life before it came to rest around another one.

"I'm on it, Hank," Diana says in response to Hank's instructions. Not that his instructions to her were that specific, but they didn't need to be.

Diana moved in a blur of steps and vaults, dodging around her comrades, and putting herself in the middle of the fight.

Special: Set Staff Defender feature to +1 to-hit / +2 AC
Action: Attack twice with staff. Start with orc at D10. If it still stands, 2nd attack at same orc, otherwise 2nd attack at E8 orc.
Bonus action: Spend 1 ki point. Flurry of blows: one blow to each adjacent orc (using Drunken Frenzy feature).
Reaction: If one of those orc on the wall tries a ranged attack on Diana, use Deflect Missiles (reduce damage by 1d10+22). If damage reduced to 0, spend 1 ki to make a "throw the arrow back" attack.

Some of Diana's strikes missed their marks but The Staff said nothing. Those that did hit, however, were fatal to two orcs.

The final stunned mage remained stunned while one of the two remaining orcs jumped over the wall and ran!

Hank began to pick out the remaining stragglers, first the orc, then the mage, before unleashing whatever was left at one of the trolls.

Straight up shooty, orc then mage then top troll. If Hank needs to move to get line of sight, then let's move him outside at F7. Applying Sharpshooter whenever I get advantage from landing a hit. Attack damage 28, 36 (typo on 2nd attack), 39, 43, assuming all hit.

Hanks arrows took out the mage and the formerly healthy orc while the flames eventually did in the stunned orc. The flaming dire troll outside took an arrow to the eye and howled in pain, unable to get at its attacker. The action seemed to have moved entirely beyond the fort's interior but things were still stirring within.

"Yurtrus," Commander One-Hand whispered and sent a burst of divine energy that rippled outward from him!

Everyone except Diana must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or take 5d6 thunder damage as well as 5d6 necrotic damage, and be knocked prone. A creature that succeeds on its saving throw takes half as much damage and isn’t knocked prone.

Bobby has been itching to charge out into the courtyard but he said he'd hold this doorway. But now that Diana and Hank have taken out those orcs Bobby can finally start smashing those giant trolls!

"What the—?" The wave of malevolence washes over Bobby but it'll take a lot more than that to knock the barbarian down!

Just posting the save. It's been an exhausting day, I'll post something more substantial tomorrow. Not sure if you needed the elemental to roll, but I went ahead and did. Due to Focused Conjuration, Presto can't lose concentration on a conjuration spell.
