Road to Phandelver

"Not today, bearded gnome!" yells one of the goblins, as Delg's bolt goes wide.

As a beam of radiance descends on the goblin it looks up and is able to dive to the right to avoid taking any damage.

Kai moves back behind cover and takes quick steps to stop the bleeding wound

@Sampai Go ahead and take your turn. We'll skip Gareth this round and give him two actions next round.
@Windstead That'll be Kai's action for round 2, after the goblins go.

Colten easily skewers his opponent, running his blade clean through the goblin's chest. Falling back off of the blade he screams "Yeemik" as he collapses to the ground. The two goblins that are left continue their attacks, with one taking a swing at Luka and the other firing an arrow at Gareth. While the arrow intended for Gareth flies wide, Luka's attacker catches the cleric in the arm. [4HP]


The ever loyal Puck rushes to engage Luka's attacker but appears to be a little frightened as he blade misses and strikes the ground.

Luka, Delg, and Gareth are up.

Once again the goblin does his best to avoid the light streaming down upon him, but isn't quick enough to get out of the way. He lets out a bit of a yelp before shaking it off and giving Luka a mean looking glare.

With Delg's fingers behaving as they ought to, the firebolt zips through the air and catches the goblin archer right in the forehead. He quickly drops his bow and starts slapping at his now flame engulfed head. Knees buckling, the goblin falls into a smoldering heap on the ground.

Wielding his blade, Gareth moves to attack the last standing goblin when he suddenly stops and looks towards the ledge that separates the large cavern. Kneeling on the edge is a very weak looking man with perhaps the largest goblin any of you have ever seen standing directly behind him. "Enough" he growls as he grabs the man by the hair. "Truce, or human dies!"

"I know plenty of words, Human" he retorts before looking at Puck. "Humans will kill you when they get their chance, Stupid" he says in his native tongue with a chuckle.

"Truce... Trade... either way. You do something for me and this one goes free."

At Coltens' words Kai draws his bow pointing it at one of the goblins down below

Yeemik bristles a bit when Colten mentions Klarg, but otherwise gives very little clue as to what may be going through his tiny little brain. He calls out to the last remaining goblin, ordering him sheath his blade. "Me and Magor stay here with human. You and you friends bring Klarg's head to Yeemik and we let human go. We even leave cave, no longer ambush people on trail. We go back to castle."

He looks to Colten, "Deal, human?"

Colten returns his blade into its scabbard, seeing that the goblins were now non-hostile. The nobleman grins at the large goblin and gives a slight nod of acknowledgement.

"So, mighty Yeemik wishes to be king." The nobleman states, "I don't see why you need to involve this poor human at all. Even without you asking, we will kill Klarg. All you need to do is leave this cave for a few days and come back when the dust settles. Your throne will be waiting for you, your majesty."
