What at you hoping to get from this game?

Have you looked at World of Dungeons before? It is similar but not the same as Dungeon World. Your Dungeon World experience will make it easy to learn, but ask before assuming anything from that game applies here.

As mentioned in your introduction thread, we are currently near the bottom of a cursed undead tomb, so meeting new party members down here is not an option.

I don't want to make you wait till we get out before adding your character, so the easiest is just to assume your character was with us from the beginning. Either the beginning of the game where many of the party signed on as caravan guards, or from the beginning of this part where they got sidetracked from the caravan and headed down into the horrid place. We have players who have added themselves in both those ways recently. If we ignore it it works well enough. :)

One of the features of PbP is that people can go away for a while --to get on with their real lives, or something-- to demonstrate that, I will now go away for several hours.

The other here can help you with any questions, about how things work, or how to get a character going, and we should look at updating the summary of events and characters.

Take your time looking through what is already here, and don't hesitate to ask any questions.

I am hoping to go on fun adventures that challenge my character and to build a shared narrative with the GM and other players where we play to find out what happens.
I have looked over it today and it looks like a lot of fun. A little bit ago I took a dive into OSR/OD&D, so it seems like I am primed for what this game is going for as well. Old school sensibilities mixed with PbtA sounds super fun. And honestly I'm a fan of whatever John Harper does. Definitely will try not to conflate DW and WoDu, does seem like they are pretty different.

Sounds good about my character just being there all along and we can focus on the cool stuff going forward!

Sounds good, I will get on with making my character soon. I have a bit of RL stuff going on as well but I should be able to get on a bit each day at least and will let you know if anything more substantial pops up to let you know if I need to step away for any period of time.
