CC holds her cybersword to the side, approaching the bodies, and examining them with care. "Good man, Lanval," she encourages her teammate. When the coast seems clear, she deactivates her sword and helps triage in greater earnest.

Lanval, the 'borg is in bad shape, but there's nothing you can do for him without the help of a Cyber-Doc or someone else familiar with cybernetics. He's still alive, which means he's probably going to stay alive. 'Borgs are tough.
Cassiopeia, most of the others around the ATV are dead. There's nothing you can do for them. There is one still alive. He was thrown from the barge when it hit the ground.

On the ground you can see the figure of a short middle aged man with a bushy blond beard, now singed by fire in places. He has a wiry build and rough worker's hands. He wears blue denim overalls and rough looking boots with plastic soles. He falls in and out of consciousness mumbling incoherently...

the NG-480 Turbo Combat Hoverbike, triple hover engine, turbo charges up to 360mph under optimal conditions... Wicker trails of into a confused diatribe about the engine, but manages even in this confused state to crawl on the Hoverbike and hold tight.

Wicker stumbles up to the 'borg and starts looking at the destroyed parts, trying to understand if there is some easy fix to get the 'borg functional again. He seems to fall into deep recollection and then out of it again. Mumbling

Wicker is able to find just the right combination of rewiring and bolt tightening to allow the 'borg to get up and walk. He's still in horrible shape, but he should be able to travel slowly under his own power. It will take him the rest of the day to get to Drellin's Ferry, the nearest town.

Wicker makes as sure as possible that the 'Borg is in the best shape he can bring it to before departing he tells it: friend, I ask of you a favor. If anyone asks about me, tell them you saw my body destroyed by heavy weapons, and nothing is left of me.
He hopes this will give him a little breathing space before his pursuers catch up with him again.

They say I betrayed the Cause... I think I follow a higher good. Not to make available any and all Tech to the highest bider wicker's face turns dark now my former "Brothers" hunt me around the realms - for this. .. he pulls out something that looks like a handgun but with several complicated mechanical addons. I will die before letting the Prototype fall into the hands of a Warlord or Slaver...
