I move towards the nothic, avoiding its gaze this time as I grab it by the limb and squeeze.
OOC:
If the attack is successful, I will use Channel Divinity to do 9 additional necrotic damage. If I'm able to heal I'll use my bonus action to healing word.

Still ignoring the rats, Malethor strikes the nothic once more. The revenant seems to grow stronger with each sword stroke, with each drop of blood spilt.

Yield. Surrender. Do as I command and I will spare you and suffer you to go before us and feast on the redbrands. Continue to resist and I shall destroy you.

Just waiting on Skein to make his action. Think we missed him.
Dec 11, 2016 3:01 am
Skeinkaldr scoffs, almost like it is worthless to continue the charade of politeness with the strange creature. He steps around Malethor and brings his hammer down on the skewered head of the nothic.

Rolls

Warhammer, Adv, Damage - (1d20+5, 1d20+5, 2d10+3)

1d20+5 : (9) + 5 = 14

The Revenant digs his sword into Nothic, blood squirts out as the metal slide in. The creature is unable to move still, though he feels every ounce of pain. His large eye quivers, the gash seeps puss from the previous stab. Skeinkaldr disposes of his manners and steps around Malethor, heavy hammer in hand.

The hammer came down hard, splattering the skewered Nothic head. The skull crushed and eye popped under the pressure, the green puss covering the Revenant. The Goliath feels a piece of the splattered Nothic's life pull into the beggar's necklace.
Dec 11, 2016 4:38 am
Skeinkaldr looks over at Malethor and says, deadpan, "I think he resisted."

OOC:
Are the rats still attacking?
Dec 11, 2016 7:01 am
The rats attacking Malethor back off, the red glaze fading from their eyes. They cower for a moment, though still face the group with aggression.
Dec 11, 2016 7:53 am
OOC:
Are we still waiting for Zephyr?
Dec 11, 2016 9:50 am
OOC:
Yeah, we'll wait a little for her
Dec 11, 2016 12:24 pm
OOC:
Sorry, passed out early last night with a headache. Had been waiting for the Nothic to go and then you pancaked his head. :)
Watching the Nothic fall, Zephyr turns her attention to the rats, she draws her rapier as she moves to where the rats are engaged with Malethor. Taking a shot, she stabs at one of them.

Rolls

Rapier attack, damage, sneak attack (if they are in melee range of Malethor still) - (1d20+5, 1d8+3, 1d6)

1d20+5 : (17) + 5 = 22

1d8+3 : (8) + 3 = 11

1d6 : (3) = 3

Dec 11, 2016 12:36 pm
OOC:
Yeah, no worries lol. Figured we'd give you a fair amount of time to check on the thread. Hope your headache is better. :)
The Gensai rogue comes out from the shadows, her rapier coolly pierces one of the giant rats. As the blade glided itself effortlessly and hit its heart, the rat died instantly after a final, crying screech. The remaining two rats are startled and begin to flee.
Dec 11, 2016 1:59 pm
I carve a symbol of Bhaal on the body of the nothic and say a prayer, praising his glory.
Dec 11, 2016 2:29 pm
Malethor only responds to Skeinkakdr's comment with a baleful glare. The rats, he hardly deigns to bestow even that much. He wipes sword blade on the dead rat's fur to clean the steel of gore and sheaths the weapon. Then, spinning on his heel, the revenant leaves without checking for a treasure hoard.
Dec 11, 2016 5:35 pm
"Ain't we supposed to just get the dwarf's stuff?" asks Skeinkaldr.
