The rat barely dodges out of the way before the fire-like radiance crashes into the ground beside it. The rat bites Gala but there isn't enough power to do anything considerable. You get the feeling it doesn't have a lot of strength left.

"Taste my flames, vermin!" Ramiel said, switching his full attention to the remaining rat. Another mote of fire shoots from the sorcerer's fingertip towards the creature.

"I clearly underestimated the dangers of this cavern." Ramiel says, taken aback by his heavy injuries. Blood freely flowed down his scalp from where the spider claw pierced his flesh.

As Béke approaches Ramiel she realizes just how badly he's been hurt. "How badly have you been hurt? I may be able to help your healing along if you think it might be useful."

"For a moment there I thought I was dying. . . then a woman. . . never mind." Ramiel smiled sheepishly. "I could use a rest. I don't have much more in me to cast any spells, and a round of fiery grog would really help with the pain right now."

Convinced that Ramiel is in better shape than he looks, Béke nods and says. "I'm not one to partake in spirits, but I may just join you after we're done here."

Spinning on her heels she walks towards the back of the cavern to investigate. "Let's just make sure we've finished the job here before taking a rest."

The cavern splits off in two directions. One way follows the main tunnel. The other has been carved out, leading into an open cave room, following the trail of food it leads into this room.

Stopping just before entering the open cave Béke will motion to the others, "The trails leads into here. We may have some more rats to slay before returning."

At the entrance you see a large ax suspended along the ceiling and raised worked stone along the ground in a 5 foot square.

Kneeling down in front of the raised stone Béke raises her hand to the others just to ensure that no one tries to enter the room. "Anyone good with traps?"

"We can always avoid stepping on it, no?" Ramiel looked at the outline of the raised stonework, and used prestidigitation to color the whole device an obscene color of pink. "There, that should do it. It'll look like that for the next hour."
