As he says this, Namfoodle's face is beginning to drain of color in anticipation of the ordeal. Fortunately for him, the seeping of blood has seemed to stop.
Tol walks over to the woman and leans down to inspect her wounds. "That'll hit two birds with one stone. You'll get your gold... and more, and you'll probably be killed in the process. Traps, monsters, spells. There's no tellin how many things are going to try and kill us where we're going."
Tol grimaces at the woman, " Gala, Izen, could you carry the woman please? As careful as I know you can." And Namfoodle..." Tol walks and puts a hand on the gnomes shoulder, "I know you're hurt my friend, but we don't know who this woman is. If she is from around here, showing up at the tavern with her looking like this will most assuredly raise some anger from the locals." Tol opens his bag and offers the gnome three gold coins, "I'd like to buy that potion of yours. Your wounds are bad, but she looks terrible."
The dwarf once more turns to Uruzall and points up to his face, feet above him. "You and me have some talkin to do boyo! We'll camp here for the night. In the morning, someone return and fetch us if all is well, and if you can, please bring ale... I'm going to need it."
"Who else was with the woman Uruzall?"
The rogue pokes a stick into the fire and gazes uninterested at the flames.
"A woman like that wouldn't t'have been traveling alone, especially this close to nightfall." Tol raises his gaze to stare at the half-orc, already sure that he knows the answer to his question. "She wasn't alone was she?"
The rogue stands expecting some sort of recourse from Uruzall. "I've known brutes like you my whole life. Strong, angry, powerful. But in the end, all the same. Cowards."
Tol begins to remove his armor and weapons, dropping them carefully on his sleeping roll. It's when he pulls off his undershirt that he stops and steps into the firelight. The dwarfs body isn't as built as others of his race, in fact, he's scrawny by comparisson to Izen, though it's not his physique that draws attention, but the scars. Tol's torsoe, chest, and back are covered in them. Some apprear long like blade marks, others might be burns, still others, magic perhaps. Tol's eyes glisten with tears, "Just like the dwarf that gave me these scars. Just like my father."

The rogue quickly turns on his heels and sprints back to his tent, grabs his short bow, and notches an arrow. Taking aim, Tol hopes that the older brother of Uruzall will flee if shown enough force... though somewhere in the back of the rogues mind, he doesn't think it will be that easy.

Her demeanor suddenly changes as she stands directly face to face with Celestyna. In a confident voice she adds "But know this. Their suffering has just begun and it will be eternal!"

With a heavy heart, Ramiel returns to the tavern. He nods to the bouncer, then ducks into the building.
Uncomfortable indoors the elf pulls her hood a little tighter over her head before while slowly looking over the establishment. "Where was the information concerning the monster extermination job?" she asks.
You go up to the counter, the long mustached gnome behind it smiles "Ah, hello again, I see you brought company. To those of you who don't know me, I'm Tofdir Duflame, it's a pleasure to meet you all. Welcome to the Fiery Grog Tavern." Ramiel positions himself to avoid any friendly fire, touching his thumbs together, and thin flames begin to shoot from his fingertips.

The last rat quickly scurries away, behind some wooden crates and disappears.

With that, the half elf slaps down a silver coin over the counter at the gnome.

Béke you catch a glimpse of a familiar face through the crowd.
Silene sways slightly, like a sapling in the breeze, staring at the signs.
"We never properly thanked you for all that you did for us" she says quietly, approaching Silene from the side.
"Oh hey girl," Silene says in a lazy and relaxed tone flavored with casual amusement. "Like, it's not a biggie, y'know?" She shrugs and scratches the scalp under her matted hair that looks like it has naturally dreadlocked itself.
"You're out pretty far from home, yeah? Like, whatcha got goin' on?" Silene's head slowly tilts to the other side, a genuine and gentle smile turning the corners of her lips.
"While in the cellar we also came across an odd book" she says, pushing herself away from the wall and extracting the item from her pack. She moves in close to Silene as she flips through the pages and in a quiet voice asks, "Have you ever heard of such a thing as a 'rat-bear-pig'?"
"Maybe this is what they were talking about..." Silene says to herself, wistfully.
She turns her head a bit at Ramiel's approach. When it is apparent that the half-elf is with Béke, she lazily tips her head upward in acknowledgement and greeting. "Heya."
"And I am Ramiel." The half-elf said with a smile.
Béke, Gala, Ramiel, and Silene you all spot a satchel hidden inside a small cavity in the cave ceiling about 30 feet up.

In the hopes of appealing to their natural animal instincts, Silene takes some of her rations (a mix of dried fruits and nuts with seasonings) and portions out small doses for each creature, moving along the cages.
Nibbles lets out a chuckle "The means to leave, sure, it doesn't require much brains to walk out of this place. Even the dumbest of dumb can find their way out eventually. It is thanks to my intelligence why we are still here, the rat-king has a kill switch installed in us all. Was he bluffing? Perhaps, but I don't want to risk it, especially after seeing his creations I wouldn't put it past him to have put a kill switch in us. Which is where, hopefully, you come in."

you to make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the
rat is under your control for the potion’s duration, or until you
choose to end your control over it. Rats with an Intelligence of 5
or greater (like Nibbles) are immune to this ability.
On each of your turns, you can use your action to mentally
command a controlled rat, deciding what action the creature
will take and where it will move during its next turn. If you issue
no commands on a turn, the creature does nothing.
You can only control one rat this way at a time. If you take
control of a rat while already controlling one, the previous
controlled rat becomes free-willed. The potion lasts 6 hours.

They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, some squatting down to the floor and wiggling strange appendages, others towering up 20 or more feet into the air and puffing out golden glittery spores every so often. Orbs of violet light shine from the walls and ceiling, casting a lavender glow on the area.

The fungi start to wiggle their appendages and start to approach their targets. Two (F3/4) attempt to hit hit Izen, one (F2) attempts to hit Solus, and one (F5) begins to approach Elnorath.

As the fungi lash out and their tendrils whip across Izen and Solus making their skin shrivel and blacken, their faces age and wither , and their eyes go dark and hollow as their life energy is sucked away. They fall unconscious to the cold cavern floor.

The laboratory is littered with specialized alchemical devices and half-finished experiments: glass tubes with monstrous rat-like fetuses suspended in liquid, jars full of pickled organs, anatomical charts for both human and beast, and vats of alchemical liquids. In total, there's about 350 gp worth of alchemical materials that can be used for crafting potions, along with the equipment to do so.
