Silene waves her hand before the lantern, summoning the energy of the natural world to light the oil.

The oil lights, giving off what a regular lantern would, 30 feet of bright light followed by 30 feet of dim light. Upon lighting it, you look around, as the chamber fills with light, and you notice a few of the stalactites are covered with what look to be stars, very similar to the lanterns casing.

Lost in the moment, Silene continues her gaze to the ceiling. Even though she hasn't been underground for long, the simulated stars conjure up memories of clear night skies.

While there is no way to be completely positive, you have a strong feeling the stalactites covered in stars are darkmantles. You're unsure if it is because of the lantern itself or just bright light reacting to their skin.

"Interesting. I wonder if the lantern is magical." Ramiel leans over to study the curious lantern closely, his face casting an enormous shadow on the wall.

"I could just shoot around and see if I hit something. Although if the whole lot of them come at us, it could mean trouble." Ramiel said as he gazed up at the ceiling. "I am not sure what smoke would do to these things other than blind us, considering they can sense their surroundings using sound rather than sight."
