Intelligence check, Advantage if relevant - (1d20+1, 1d20+1)

1d20+1 : (6) + 1 = 7

1d20+1 : (7) + 1 = 8

"Like, is the door still locked?" asks Silene.
Mar 21, 2017 6:38 pm
You've never encountered anything like this and your mind is drawing a blank for any similarities.

You don't notice any change in the door.

"Hmm, I wonder if the flower is the only way. . ." Ramiel mused at the closed door, seemingly calm about the combat they just had.

You see no place to insert any sort of key or key-like objects.

Allister moves over to look at the door, and see if he can pick the lock and allow the group to pass. Unable to find a lock, or other hole to be used as such, he shrugs and moves back away from the door into the shadows.

Izen calls out to Nibbles. "Wher can we find one ov tha flowers?"
Mar 29, 2017 4:47 pm
"Like, if it's like any type of lotus, we'd find them in ponds and by water, you know?" answers Silene. "That's... kinda where we were going when we got sidetracked by that hammer and the waterfall."
Mar 29, 2017 8:25 pm
I have to admit we didn't get to explore much but after being chained on the wall for so long I feel the need to move, so why not go to where you think we could find this lotus flower right now ? There's not much keeping us here is it...

KennyGardnerIII says:
Izen calls out to Nibbles. "Wher can we find one ov tha flowers?"
Nibbles squeaks in response to Izen "Like I said before, the ratking was very secretive of opening the door, he never showed me how to open it or what opened it. You guys know more about how to open than I do, with your experience with nature. There is only two places us rats weren't allowed to go, across the stream and into the cave where the ratking asked me to put an alarm spell on. If you didn't find anything across the stream, if it is in this cavern, there is only one place to go."
Mar 29, 2017 9:50 pm
As Nibbles speaks, Allister slowly makes his way closer to him.

"This alarm spell. What is the nature of it?"
Mar 29, 2017 10:30 pm
"To alert but I know not of what or why. If I had to guess though, it is a good candidate for this flower you seek; the rat-king told us to never go down that path and asked to alarm it, a lot of precaution for a cave."
Mar 29, 2017 10:48 pm
"Like, if you set the alarm, can you remove it?" Silene asks of Nibbles.
Mar 29, 2017 10:48 pm
With a nod towards Nibbles, Allister checks his weapons out of habit to make sure they are ready and then looks to the others.

"No time like the present."
Mar 29, 2017 11:47 pm
"I'm afraid not, once it is cast it is there until it expires which is in no time soon. Luckily, for most of you at least, I had you in mind when I cast it allowing you to walk though it without setting it off. The newer two will have to crawl to avoid setting it off...sorry." Nibbles looks at Allister and Solus.
Mar 29, 2017 11:53 pm
"Well," Silene says, hesitantly, as she proceeds to the cave. "Thanks."
Mar 30, 2017 2:46 am
Are you telling us that your Alarm spell will activate based on the height of the creature passing it ?

"Something like that, it isn't so much as size as it is if you touch the warded area. As long as you crawl under it, we should be fine."

You make your ways down the cave system and eventually return back to the crossroads. You continue straight, following the path and into the cavern.
(This is where Allister and Solus would need to crawl if they choose to follow.) You are greeted with a forest of fungi that covers the cavern. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, some squatting down to the floor and wiggling strange appendages, others towering up 20 or more feet into the air and puffing out golden glittery spores every so often. Orbs of violet light shine from the walls and ceiling, casting a lavender glow on the area.
