Reaching for her bow as the others rain destruction of one type and another down on one of fungi, Béke takes aim at one further down and lets loose with an arrow.

As he is in the process of regaining his feet, Allister notices arrows start to land near him and the rest of the group. Looking up he sees a group of living fungus shooting at them. As his friend Solus breaks for the group shooting at them, Allister pulls out his swords and rushes to follow behind him, heading for the nearest creature to the one Solus is attacking, and goes in for the attack with his primary sword.

The arrow flies true and sinks into the fungus creature. Allister slashes out at the weakened one and cuts it down, making it fall lifelessly to the ground. F6 is dead.

The fungi start to wiggle their appendages and start to approach their targets. Two (F3/4) attempt to hit hit Izen, one (F2) attempts to hit Solus, and one (F5) begins to approach Elnorath.

Izen takes 12 necrotic damage, Solus takes 14 necrotic damage.

As the fungi lash out and their tendrils whip across Izen and Solus making their skin shrivel and blacken, their faces age and wither , and their eyes go dark and hollow as their life energy is sucked away. They fall unconscious to the cold cavern floor.

OOC:

I don't believe either of you outright die, I wish I could roll that well with my PC's.

Elnorath moves again, trying to keep the fungus that is moving towards him at a distance but conscious of not moving so far he, or the fungus, triggers the alarm. Drawing another arrow to his cheek he lets fly at the strange creature.

OOC:

I wasn't sure if Elnorath would have been excluded from the alarm spell as joined the group after they first met nibbles so I'm playing him as being overly cautions just in case

Silene summons another ball of flame, trying to drive the fungi away. She knows she doesn't have much time to help those that have fallen, but it makes no sense to do so no while danger surrounds them.

That is a good point, Elnorath, but for continuity, we'll say Nibbles is very sneaky and saw you leave with the group

While Elnorath's arrow flies true and strikes into the target, his stance was wrong causing the bowstring to strike across his arm (disadvantage on your next attack). Between the arrow from Béke and the fireball from Silene, the manage to annihilate another fungus.

OOC:

Three left (F2, F4, F5). F4 is hurt, the others are fine.

Seeing that his firebolts were subpar tonight, Ramiel unslings his light crossbow. Taking aim at one of the untouched fungi, he fires off a bolt at it.

Seeing his friend Solus attacked by the fungus, Allister is enraged and runs at the creature, swinging both of his short swords with all he's got and letting out a primal scream as he attempts to distract it from attacking Solus again.

Ramiel's bolt grazes the mushroom, not doing much in terms of damage but it does start to sway from its sustained damage. Allister rushes up besides his friends unconscious body and takes chunks off the fungus that is responsible.

Two (F4/F5) start to move on to new targets (Silene/Ramiel), just stopping short of their prey (10 feet).

The one Allister is in combat with strikes back at him with two tendrils...the first strike is easily deflected but the second strike is much to fast, as it grabs at his skin making his skin lose color and wrinkle before turning back to normal (4 points necrotic).

The fungus' top half is obliterated as the club slams into it (F4 dead).

F5 remains and since there's a good chance it isn't going to make it to its next turn, we can call combat over. If you'd rather roll it out you may but it's 3v1 and it has a ridiculously low AC.
