Seeing the satchel Béke flashes pack to the rat-spider thing that had attacked Ramiel on the previous day. "Perhaps it's a trophy" she offers quietly, "You've no doubt heard the term 'pack-rat', well maybe that's the work of a 'pack-rat-spider'"

She immediately starts to scan the area on the ceiling around the pack, looking for signs of any rat-spiders.
OOC:
I think in thread works great for the images

The crossroad feels empty, almost to empty. Something doesnt seem right.

"Only one way to find out." Ramiel takes out his crossbow and takes a shot at the pack to make sure it is not a rat, and hopefully knock it down without destroying it's contents.

The bolt goes flying and sinks into the satchel, nothing happens.

"Not a rat. . . Now, lets see if I can get it down with this." Focusing intently on the small cavern, Ramiel tries to reshape the rock behind the satchel.
OOC:
Casting mold earth. I want to make a small shape (just a bump) to nudge the bag out of the hole. It's up to the DM to rule the extent of the shapes the spell can create, I guess.

Gala will try to position himself under the satchel hopefully able to catch it if it falls
Aug 14, 2016 6:35 pm
You all watch as Ramiel stares at the crevice. The once circular crevive starts to form a slant at the bottom and the stachel starts to slide out, eventually falling.
OOC:
Gala make a straight Dexterity check to see if you can catch it.

As the others fuss with the satchel, Silene steps into the intersection and inspects the perimeter. She looks into the darkness, listens to the stream, and tastes the scents upon the air.

The satchel falls and Gala is able to catch it before it hits the ground.
Silenes surroundings are empty, the sound of a waterfall eminats further down the tunnel the stream is running through, the air tastes rather good thanks to the fresh running water.

I'll set the satchel down to be examined and opened
Aug 14, 2016 8:52 pm
Feeling a bit uneasy Béke will draw her sword and continue to watch as the other examine the satchel.
Aug 14, 2016 9:04 pm
Gala opens the satchel and finds 30 GP, a long golden bracelet with a rippled pattern that shines ruby-red in Silenes light, and a small packet barely nicked by the bolt with dust spilling out of the tear.

Can we repair the bag or transfer it to another container
Aug 14, 2016 10:48 pm
OOC:
For future questions use the ooc function or thread. If you have a way to repair the bag yes or if you have a spare container yes.

I don't like tha feel of this. Too empty. Like a goblin ambush or somethin'. Izen hefts his hammer a bit, feeling the weight in his hands. Seeing Gala with the dust pouch, Izen takes out a tiny cask with a stopper. 'Ere. Use this.

"I have a very similar feeling" Béke responds, free hand reaching for her amulet.
Aug 14, 2016 11:36 pm
"If you give me a minute, I can fix that satchel." Ramiel said as he gently took the bag off his hands. Muttering some incantation in elven repeatedly, he jabs a finger at the ripped portion, trying to coerce the fibers to knit shut.
OOC:
I have mending, and I will mend the bag and whatever is holding that dust stuff.
Aug 14, 2016 11:56 pm
Two minutes pass as Ramiel fiddles with the satchel and packet of dust, after which the holes have no signs of ever being there to begin with.
OOC:
The way I read the mending spell is if they're separate items, it takes two uses. Is this correct?

Silene waits patiently, crouched near the stream bank and tracing lines in the dirt.
