Gala starts drawing a map of what was seen. Tofdir gestures to lower your voices "If you can, keep as quite as you can about this please. Wait here I'll be right back." and with that he takes off out the tavern. Ramiel easily takes down the Fiery Grog, the benefit of it dulling his pain heavily outweighs the strong alcohol taste. While you're waiting for Tofdir, you over hear a conversation that strikes your fancy between a group of young men "I'm telling you it IS here. - No it's not, we're in a tavern and I don't see it anywhere you're chasing a made up story. - You'll be singing a different tune when I find this armor and become the greatest warrior when absolutely nothing can hurt me. - Greatest warrior, bahah that's rich, you not only have to find the armor first, but if you ever do, do you think the owner of it is just going to let you have it? Now shut up about your dumb story and drink, you're giving me a headache. - When I own the armor of invulnerability you won't be able to tell me to shut up, i'll.. - Shut up I said." the table goes silent for a second then resumes with boring tales of guard duty. A couple more minutes pass then Tofdir comes running through the door, he makes his way towards the group. "This is quite the surprise, here you did what you were asked." he puts 20 gp on the table "If you are interested, i'd be willing to pay a lot more for you to clear it out and uh...buy your silence. I've had enough problems with the local authorities, they'd probably try to flip this on me, claim I was the mastermind of it, probably get this place shut down. How does 100 gp sound?" he gives a friendly but desperate grin as he looks the party up and down. "To sweeten the deal, i'll throw in free food, drink and lodging as well."

Sipping on her Fiery Grog while awaiting Tofdir's return, Béke catches a conversation taking place behind her. Placing her mug gently on the bar she leans back a bit to try and make out what's being discussed. When she hears 'Armor of Invulnerability' she thinks Preposterous! and silently chuckles, but continues to listen in. When the talk turns to tales of guard duty Béke quickly loses interest and returns to nursing her drink.

With Tofdir back behind the counter and a firm offer of money and free lodging thrown on the table Béke begins to wonder what it is exactly Mr. Duflame may or may not know...
OOC:

You don't know any sure history about the armor, just tales often brought up by adventuring groups and the like.
He comes off as honest and friendly, he does seem a bit afraid of the local authorities though.

"I wouldn't let anyone else sneak into your cellar, Tolfdir, until we know it is safe." Ramiel advised sincerely, but quietly. The warmth in his mid-gut felt wonderful as it spread, dulling his headache considerably. If only it made people smarter instead of the other way around. "Set the big fellow on it or keep it locked during the night, least one of those young lads lost themselves in there."

"That is not a bad idea." he raises his hand and snaps his fingers. A few seconds pass and a large goliath comes out of the back, Tofdir whispers something in his ear and the goliath walks out of the bar, returning about a minute later, nodding towards Tofdir before heading in the back. Tofdir speaks up "I assume you still have the key. If you exit make sure to lock it from now on." Tofdir shakes his head and lets out a sigh "I had no idea it was this bad."

Feeling confident that Tofdir was genuine in his reaction concerning the cellar Béke leans in towards the others, "A hundred gold and free lodging sounds fair for what the man is asking, don't you think?"

"I just need a nap before we keep going. The grog is still here if anyone wants them." Ramiel gestured to the two other burning mugs on the counter.
OOC:
Sorry, I thought he put out a total of 4.

Not feeling any sense of urgency and wanting everyone as sharp as possible in case they run into any trouble Béke says "I could do with a bit of rest myself before heading back down there" in hopes that everyone will get some rest.

Tofdir nods and pulls out 4 keys placing them on the counter "The rooms are up stairs, you have your choice of all of them." he looks at all of you with a gentle smile "Thank you for helping me with this...this disaster. Have a good rest."

Can Izen make a history check on the armor?

Having served in a war and hearing many tales about it, you know it is a highly sought after piece of armor and its rumored whereabouts is an underground cave somewhere.

Ramiel grabs his key and heads up to his room. He plans to sleep for a few good hours, hopefully with pleasant dreams to boot.

OOC:
I believe Ramiel had the room on the far right.

Gala follows suit and heads upstairs with every intention of resting up for another go at discovering what's beneath them

Slapping her hand over one of the keys Béke gives a friendly nod to Tofdir before palming the key in her hand. "Pleasure doing business with you, Sir!" she says, giving a slight bow, as she heads off to her room. Once there she'll climb onto her bed and sit cross-legged in the dead center facing the door. She'll lay out her weapons to either side and fall into a trance.

Izen sits in the bar drinking for quite some time. After a few hours of grog and a bit of food, Izen thanks Tolfdir and retires.

You all retire to your separate rooms, sleep finds you easily and you awake fully rested. It is night time and you hear that the tavern gathered quite the crowd downstairs.
OOC:
You all get the benefits of a long rest.

You all gather your belongings, getting ready to trek back into the cavern and make your way down stairs. As you reach the bottom floor, a lady you haven't seen before stands up and starts walking towards you with a smile. "Hello, it's nice to see you all well rested, my name is Sylana Vallejo. Um...Forgive me for eaves dropping but earlier you came in talking about the cellar being bigger than expected..." she lets out a sigh "...I wanted to talk to you before but felt it was better to let you rest. This a long shot but i'm here looking to find out what happened to my grandmother, Emeria, she disappeared around this area when I was a child. She was a scholar and came here on a secretive mission but never returned. It's not much but i'll pay 50 GP if you find anything about her. If you are going down there anyway you have nothing to lose, right?"

Béke you catch a glimpse of a familiar face through the crowd.

The thin woman with dirty blonde hair (literally and figuratively) stands before the signs about grog challenges and exterminators, ice-blue eyes taking in the scrawled words. Underneath a patchwork outfit of leathers and furs caked with mud and leaves, her petite build seems to sag under the weight of a light pack until finally the woman slips the backpack off and rests it upon the floor.

Silene sways slightly, like a sapling in the breeze, staring at the signs.
